Well Tom Terry has his jacket back on, so I guess it's safe to go out to dinner one last time before the bad stuff hits!

LOL! I thought of you this morning OrlandoMike when I saw him with his jacket off! LOL!

Rain and gray skies here. Light breeze. You know, that sinister ominous sort.

Just took the trash out, eire how calm it is, not good! The sky has "that" look!

Although the weather reports are saying "just rain" for Orlando.

We should have a contest tomorrow!

Who can find the following....

Tom Terry getting undressed!

Danny Trainer drinking!

Clair Metz blowing away on the pier!

Gail Paschal Brown in the hood for some price gouging story!

And 100 bonus points for a pic of Gretta covering the "Casey Anthony gets out of jail" story!

I love preparing for the severe weather (strange, I know...), but it seems they hype us all up and then we get some wind and a few rain drops. I know 2004 was bad, but since then, I think the forecasters just like to scare us. School is closed tomorrow (just started today!) and I'm thrilled, but I'm not sure we will see much of a "hurricane". I really am thankful though!

Just read the Tom Terry posts...that guy cracks us up. He is truly the voice of doom.

I know it's still early, but geesh, you call this a storm?

Nah, it's not going to be much more than our normal afternoon thunderstorms.

Of course, I am keeping an eye on that "disturbance" over in the Atlantic. When things develop way out there, it's rarely good news.

Shh! Don't jinx it by saying it's not a big deal!

It could still cause tornadoes!

Plus, if I keep making it a big deal, maybe they'll let me leave work early!

Couldn't agree more, I keep thinking that all those "storms" we had in Calif were really more hurricane'ish then they let on and they never closed schools or went into a tizzy like they are doing here! And try going thru Santa Ana winds for weeks at a time
I will however, head to Publix and get more "supplies" (darn you Mike and your Cheetos) and wait to put the patio back together.
Just keep reminding me not to be one of those complacent peeps.... yanno the one who says..... it aint gonna happen to me

just me

Now what time does cocktail hour start?

OrlandoMom, we ate at Bonefish last night, at the Loop, awsome meal!
