What I have now, Woody, is a list of all the DIS names with real names as I could find them, ages, hometown, room numbers, and whether something was to be celebrated or not based on scanning the thread from pages 1-37.

Shall I just copy and paste all that?

Do we need to be concerned about privacy since people already posted this info?

Do we then invite people to make additions and corrections as they see the need?

I have never had this job before so never paid attention to the finer points of making it happen.

Thanks for your help.

Jan

Jan -- there are many ways to do a Roll Call. Here's a sample of one done by dizney-cruiser. Sample Roll Call

She made it real fancy with different font colors, which makes it easy to find certain information. But basic black works too. The important thing is to collect all the information in one place.

If a person has already posted his or her information on this thread, I don't believe there are privacy concerns. But I would not augment information that you receive from another source (such as a Mini Navigator from a prior cruise). Some people might not want certain information on a public board.

Hope this helps.

There are actually three levels that you can choose from. The basic one is from age one & up. The website you want to go to is DolphinDiscovery.

Were just did our ressies for it today(sad). I also found out that DW REALLY wants to spend some time swimming with them, so she is going back at 1 pm for the swim adventure.

I did the reservation directly through DolphinDiscovery since DCL did not offer it as an excursion.

lg3, I've done Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel and also booked directly with them. I don't know if you have any concerns about booking an excursion on your own, but this is a good company, so you shouldn't have any concerns there. I did the "Royal Swim" (which also was not available through DCL) and it was FANTASTIC! Definately one of the top experiences in my life.

Woody, please give Janice and Linda a BIG hug from me when you see them at Halloween. Man....I really need a winning lottery ticket. There are three cruises yet this year that have good friends on them...AND I WANT TO GO TOO.

I know it's not on the list, but what's wrong with the cruise meet name:
'Last Call for Tortola' ?

I vote for "Tor-Totally Magic 2009"

Thanks for doing the roll call, Jan!

Nothing is WRONG with it. As I was trying to collect names I came across some suggestions that date back to the beginning of this thread. We have many moons in which to decide. I thought posting the list and adding as new ideas come up would be a good one.

There were a few others in there that I did not find that included the name TORTOLIAN which some thought is the name of the people who live there and that they might take offense if we copy.

Adding yours to the list we have:

Sept '09, Tortola and the Magic one last time

Tortolian Folk

Tor-Totally Magic 2009

DCL Magic Tor-Tollin' ‘09

Tortola & Magic "Cruisin on the 9's

DIS Tor'Tollin on the Magic

The Last MAGIC Tortolians

Last Call for Tortola

Last Callers

Cheri suggested we might want to use this picture in a logo for our group:

Here are the names of cruisers that I could gather from skimming the posts so far. If I have made errors or there are changes please post them. I think I have posted only info from this Thread. If there is anything not from this thread it is from the Panama Canal thread not from my memory of having met people on a cruise. So, I hope this is all OK to post.

Well, if we're celebrating - we are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary!!! Can't remember our room number - our last one is too firmly embedded in my brain at the moment.

Ok, been to check - room 6630.

Wonderful job!

You can add our room # also - 8510 and we are from Round Rock,Tx (right above Austin).

My inlaws are in 7508 and are from Cedar Park, Tx (just northwest of Austin).
Their names are Mark & Marilyn.

Please add them to the list. Thanks.
