Lost Ring At Castaway Cay

We were at Castaway Cay on Friday 14th March and our teenage son lost his ring on the teen beech ( we think ) or possibly in the water.
We know this is a long shot but if anyone happen to find a ring or does in the future we would be very grateful to hear from you as he is really upset about this.
Wishing for some Pixie Dust or a Miracle

Description: Band style gold on top and bottom silver in middle with Mexican design engraved on it.

Thank you all very much.

DH lost his wedding ring at CC on our cruise in July 2001 . . . we reported it missing but never heard anything.

Let me know if anybody finds a men's wedding band, gold with 2 diagonal stripes engraved with 3 tiny diamonds in between!

Be sure to check with DCL lost and found as well. While it may be a longshot that a ring will be found on a beach, you never know. I it is turned in to a CM it will go to DCL lost and found.

Sorry to hear of your son's loss.

We did report the ring as lost and filled in a report they said they would also notify the Wonder but sadly even Disney cant put everyting right. Still hoping for a miracle though you never know maybe it will wash ashore and someone extremely honest will find it.

I lost my toe ring while snorkeling at CC a couple years ago. Sterling silver with Mickey heads on it, if anyone happens to come across it.

I won't be at CC until April 8/08 but I can assure you that if I find a ring, I will post it here!

I lost a pair of sunglasses onboard and kept checking at the lost and found to no avail. (my other pair broke, blah, so bring a couple pair) Anyhow, the very last day after we got off the ship in port, I looked in the lost and found pile and sure enough, there they were. Good luck with your son's ring.

There was actually a family sitting in front of me on the family beach that day who had a meatal detector with them , I was going to ask them if they minded having a look on the teen beach for my sons ring but they never returned to their spot while I was still there, just as well because I wasnt sure if that was a bit rude or not.

DH said the same thing. In honesty though, I hope Disney or someone else finds the ring and returns it. Best of luck!

I'll bet the island cast members have a metal detector and comb the beach once the ship is out of sight I know I would

I had my digital camera and expensive underwater housing stolen from my beach bag when I was on Castaway Cay a year ago.

Initially, I said I "lost" it, as I hated correlating crime with paradise.

DCL had people CMs scour the island in search of it.

It was in our bag when the kids and I went to go snorkel. DH snoozed in a beach chair. He walked to the edge of the water when we returned from snorkeling. He was maybe 25 feet from the bag for about 2 minutes when it was stolen.

Pretty sad, huh?

I hope you get your belongings back.

We didn't.

Was the ring a senior class ring? If so, I know we could get our DS's replaced for $100.

No it wasnt a class ring ,he had saved his money since we booked the cruise and had bought it in Cozumal just 2 days before, so he was pretty mad as he had saved fo quite a while.
