Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Two....

I believe Bo is the one that is sick. He almost passed out today and is in a lot of back pain. As far as Hope having a back ache and almost passing out and not wanting to eat.....hmmmmmmm don't tell me she is pregnant again?? Could it be?? Or are they both sick?? Stay tuned.

I saw Bo being sick today. funny how this just came upon them.

I read in SOD that Kate will be back. I like her-I might be the only one.

I also read that something is going to happen on the plane ride home.

It seems like everyone who gets fired from Days goes on to a better soap. The old Belle is on GH, the old Mimi is on OLTL, the old Brady is on B&B, the old Kristen is on Y&R.

It would be strange if Days does not come back next year. That is the only soap I watch!

I was away on a business trip this week. Got home tonight and decided to start watching my taped Days episodes. Wow, what a week! Here it is 1:30am and I just finished! Normally I would just zip through them.

I did cry when Colleen died. It reminded me of when my mom died, she had the family around her in her bedroom.

I just read that Patsy Pease is returning for a few episodes as of course Kimberly..........to attend another funeral...that of elder Shawn..wow, they are doing away with all the older cast right now. I wonder though if he really is ill in real life, Frank Parker does appear that way. It will be another sad Brady day

I think even if NBC passes on Days, I think another channel will pick them up

I heard they need to make Bo sick, to clarify that Victor is his dad, not Shawn Sr, so everyone remembers that Shawn and Belle are not blood related.

That may be why. They also had a point of having Shawn D tell Belle, for the first time I'm glad Victor is my grandfather, otherwise we would be related.

Isabella is Victor's daughter and John is Santo's and Colleen's. I can't remember who Isabella's mom was, but I don't see how they're related.

I've sure been enjoying the fast pace of the show lately. I get so sick of them dragging the storylines out FOREVER!

I read somewhere that Shawn dies on the plane trip home....On my show Friday we ended up with the plane dipping and John said Uh Oh in a flat tone or something like that.

What they make John say is so out of character it is funny. I think he is doing a great job.

I was also wondering about DOOL being taken off of the air. There ratings have steadily dropped over the past couple of years (I think this is another reason to bring back the older cast to try to get those viewers back that watched during 80\90's era). Additionally, this is the only soap that NBC still airs so they may be deciding that soaps just don't bring in the viewers like they did therefore the money isn't there either. I also personnally think that they are cutting the younger crew (belle/shawn jr.) because they have to pay the older actors more (I'm sure that John probably got a nice raise when he came back on so it had to come from somewhere). If they decided to kill shawn, sr. then they are probably asking Frank P. to play like he is sick (using cane and getting help to sit, etc.) to build the storyline til his death. Now that Billie and Shawn, Sr. are exiting there salaries are probably being added to the pot for the other actors. This could very well be a last attempt effort by NBC to see if they can get viewership up and make a decision on if they want to keep the show on passed 2009. I have watched DOOL for 34 years and I certainly don't want to see it go. I'll also be sad to see Lucas go because I wanted to see him and Sami happy together if even just for a few months.

The rumors are that the show is releasing actors to cut on costs so NBC would renew contract for the show.

Subbing, and adding just a few thoughts

I'm not at all sad about the current Shawn and Belle leaving -- they do nothing for me. I would be thrilled if they brought back the original Shawn and Belle someday. But more than that, I want Brady back (Kyle Lowder, not someone new)... that would make my day

I also read that Pop Shawn will meet his end on the plane ride home. With Pop out of the picture, and Victor back in, I wonder if some romance between Victor and Caroline with be rekindled?

I love Sami with EJ. It's funny - I've never liked her with Lucas. I don't really see any chemistry between them. To me, they're more like brother and sister. I loved her with Brandon ( ) most of all, really, but EJ is a close second.

Hopefully, if NBC decides to let Days go, SoapNet will pick it up. I've been watching this show for 25 years (yikes! And I'm only 35!), and can't imagine it being gone.
