SlightlyGoofy my DW brought the lights. I thought it added some extra Christmas spirit to our room.

Women do details well

Mick, women always seem to add a little something to every occasion.

This will be our second stay at ASSPORTS, when we were there Thanksgiving Week of 06 we didn't get a chance to swim only one warm day while we were there and too windy/cold the other days. This time we are going in August and hoping to swim a bit. Does anyone know how late the pools here stay open, mainly the Surf's Up pool? TIA!!!

Pool hours are from 8am to 12am. Pools are considered 'quiet areas' from 10pm to midnight.

Nice folks there too

bettyann29, there are an awful lot of special CM's there too. Not that we stay there often or anything but they call me by name and we exchange Christmas cards with several of them. The lady over housekeeping was our Mousekeeper many, many years ago. It is fun watching them grow up to be such fine folks.

Have a fun time!!

Just wondered if Sports has it own busing or does it share with the other All Star Resorts. If they all share, is it hard to get a spot?? I am thinking about staying there in September. So any info will be great!!

Thanks

All Star Sports does share busses with the other two All Star resorts. But it is the first to be picked up and the first to be dropped off. We never had a problem finding a spot on the bus when picked up. A couple of busy end of the day park closings we had to wait for a second bus but that is pretty par for the course for most resorts.

Weird question but my son wants to know if there are basketball courts that can be played on at Sports?

Not weird at all

My grandson would have the same question. I do not remember seeing any but that does not mean that there might not be some down by the small pool. I sort of doubt it though as it would be difficult to contain all those balls bouncing around. There is a big football field though.

There are lots of neat oversized sports icons to look at and inside the main building are many autographed pictures of folks he will be very familiar with.

I walked all round the complex and did not see a basketball court to play on.

Laundry Facilities

We are leaving on Saturday for All-Star Sports and after packing I realized that we might just decide to do laundry when we are there.

Can anyone tell me, are the laundry facilities open 24 hours? We might like to get it done after coming back from the parks.

Any help is much appreciated!
