The huge perk of going from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom is, of course, the ride on the Monorail. This ride is nice and smooth no matter how sick you're feeling from the enormous amount of mango green tea slush you have consumed.

Why does the Monorail always smell like horse poopies though?

We made it over to MK in a timely manner for our ADRs at Tony's. We had never eaten there, but always wanted to give it a try. We didn't have to wait long before our name was called to be seated. At least those couches and benches are comfy in the lobby area! We were led back to our table which was in a covered patio type area. Where we were promptly greeted by a screaming child. Lovely.

Anyway, we all wanted the obligatory spaghetti and, since my family does not eat ground beef, Italian sausage. Ladle and I got one to split as did Garco and Sally. We got our bread with marinara sauce. Maybe just personal opinion, but I didn't really care for the sauce that much. It tasted kind of odd. However, as far as settling my stomach from my mango green tea slush incident, it did the trick. Garco ordered a tomato and cheese appetizer of some sort which was just okay.

We waited for, what seemed like, forever for our spaghetti. Add that screaming child, who did scream for almost the entire wait, and you get some unhappy people here! However, we took these pictures before our mood became too sour. I'm on the right in the first picture and the left in the second.

Well, our spaghetti finally came and what did it have on it? Meatballs. Meatballs when we specifically asked for Italian sausage. We told the guy who brought it, who wasn't our waiter, by the way, that we had asked for Italian sausage. He said, "What? You don't want meatballs? What?" We tried to explain that we don't eat ground beef, but it was pretty much lost on this guy. We removed our meatballs and set them on another plate. A while later, after we had already split up our spaghetti between us and started eating, our Italian sausage finally showed up. It wasn't very good anyway.

Overall, we weren't very impressed with Tony's. We have no plans on going back. Although, Sharky did say their amaretto cheesecake is to die for, so perhaps we will have to stop in for coffee and cheesecake! Other than that... Tony's is out for us.

Next up... When you know it's time to take your kid back to the hotel!

Thank you all for your sweet concerns. I'm working on getting better. It's a long process, but it's going in the right direction. I've at least felt well enough to be around the boards a bit lately! Thanks, everyone!

) We have never had any luck @ Tony's, only been two times, so we threw it out several years ago...sorry it is still no good!!!

No, the kid isn't in any of the pics. I think he was screaming about dessert and when they got dessert he didn't want any!

Yep, you haven't missed anything since you threw it out two years ago!

And I just have to say, it appears I will be in Vegas at the same time you are. Though I arrive a few days earlier. Will I be able to spot you if I look for Fancy Pants? Hmmm...that is a mystery yet to be solved...

Gonna be hotter than heck out there, those fancy pants are way appropriate Vegas attire.
