I basically cut out a piece of the background fabric by tracing the bib of the overalls. Then I traced and cut out a Mickey head out of the yellow fabric and used Durabond (an iron on adhesive) to attach it to the bib piece. Then I used a "tight" zig zag stitch on the machine to sew around the Mickey head.
I sewed button holes on the bib part for the buttons to come through and then secured the whole piece to the overall bib.

So cute!

What do you mean, you can't sew!

These are precious! You've inspired me to look into making something for my 4 year old niece!

Again, congrats on a super project success!

Those Cinderella outfits are so cute! Making clothes for Disney is habit-forming, isn't it!? :yesl: It's so fun! DD has 2 Mickey outfits, too, that someone else made, so she's going to have plenty to wear. But poor Mommy, I hardly have enough clothes to last me the whole week! Can you guess where all my money goes?

Love the outfits, and your girls are adorable.
