Dining plan for a 2 year old?

My wife and I are planning a short stay in April. I was trying to evaluate the dining plan but haven't been able to find good info on it. So here's my question:

1) How would it work for a 2 year old? Does the dining plan have to me attached to a MYW ticket, or can you get the dinner plan for more days than you plan on visiting the parks? In either situation, how would it work for a 2 year old, who apparently doesn't need a MYW ticket at all?

The only reason I'm interested in the plan at all is that it would save us money with our daughter. She's only 2 and a skinny little thing, but sometimes she eats a lot. We'd feed her off our plates, but we don't always order something she'd want.

Thanks for the help.

Nevermind, I just found the answer. I found a link http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/me.../MYWDining.pdf

to the brochure in a post below.

Funny how you can search these boards for an hour or two without finding your answer, but 5 minutes after you post the question, you find the answer.

Apparently the plan is not available for kids under 3 - they have to eat off the adults plates.

Well, the options are to share with the child under 3 or order them a child's meal and pay for it, that option is always open.

The dining plan is attached to your room package, it must be for the same number of nights. It is not connected to your ticket.

I wish this was true, but I just called and was told that you had to have a room/ticket package to get the Dining plan. If fact, in re-reading the brochure linked above, it says on the front page:

Everyone in the room must be on the same package and ticket options.

Since we'll be using some hold park hopper tickets, we won't be eligible for the dining plan.

It isn't connected to your ticket. It's connected to your room. You DO have to have a room/ticket package in order to do the dining- but the dining is for the amount of nights you stay at the resort, even if your "pkg" only includes paying for ONE day's ticket for each in your party to make it a room/ticket package. You don't get the dining pkg for each day you've bought a ticket, you get it for each night's stay... but have to buy atleast one day ticket for everyone in your party for it to be a "pkg" in order to GET the dining added to the pkg.
Make sense? LOL
