Renting DVC points and Dining plan

Can anyone tell me whether or not I can purchase the dining plan if I rent DVC points?

Thanks!

Yes, you can . Just let the owner know so he/she can add that to the reservation. Also, when staying on DVC points, you can add the DDP without having to purchase park tickets.

In addition to what mickeynut said, the dining plan has to be paid in full when it is added to the reservation.

Which means that the owner has to add it and pay for it, because only the owner can call Member Services to change the reservation. Renters and owners work out their own methods of getting the DDP paid for. Contact the member you are renting from and let them know you would like a dining plan.

Okay, so is this only when I'm renting directly from a DVC member? What if I use David's Vacation rentals?

Same, the owner who made your reservation has to add the dining plan.
