Tables in Wonderland question

I see that a TIW card is $100, and you can add a card for your spouse at $50. The card is good for up to 10 guests. So, probably a dumb question, but if I get a card, and it is good for up to 10 guests, why would my DH need a card?

Next trip .... 10/9/14 for my birthday!

Grand gatherings...dining with more than 10 people. If you and DH both have cards, you would be able to get the discount on up to 20 people.

Dining seperately... if you have a card in your name, your husband can't use it, you have to be present.

Solo trips...the solo traveler needs a card in their own name.

It's a discount card for most table service locations, a few counter service places, and certain dinner shows times, available for purchase if you are a Annual Pass holder, DVC member, or FL resident.

Thanks for the prompt reply! It's just DH and I on this trip (maybe) so one card will do. I say 'maybe' just us, because so far we have only had one 'just us' trip. Never fails, word gets out and at least one of the 'kids' decides to join us!

Also, two are good if you and your husband sometimes eat separately. In our family, we have only one that we keep in my name, because I visit without my husband but not vice versa.

When he drives over without me, it's for business and doesn't really eat inside Disney. If you and your husband always eat together then you don't need a second card.

Enjoy!

The spouse cards are likely best for couples who do not always go to the parks together (usually locals). They offer it because only the person with their name on the card is supposed to use it - if their spouse wants to use it, they need to get their own card.
