Tonga Toast or bust!

Hello everyone,

Why do we have such dilemma's about what to get I'm in the middle of a crisis I tell you and it's all about what to order at Kona Cafe for breakfast! So Tonga Toast or Macadamia Nut Pancakes what do ya'll think? I've never been for breakfast but I've been twice for dinner and I've been really really wanting to go for both of these breakfasts but not sure what to order and trust me if I don't decide now I'll drive my friend and the server crazy

Opinions wanted/needed!! Thanks.

Just go to the Kona twice for breakfast. First time get the Tonga Toast, second time get the pancakes. Problem solved

I just had the macadamia pancakes on Monday. They are fantastic. But I don't like Tonga Toast. Too sugary and greasy for me.

I feel the same way about the Tonga Toast. I could eat only a few bites. If I ever find myself at Kona for breakfast, I'll make sure to try the pancakes.

I agree with this, I haven't had the macadamia pancakes yet (on my list of things to try) however, I am not a big fan of the Tonga Toast. It was way too sweet for my likes and I love sweets. If you really want to try both I agree with the others and try the pancakes at Kona Cafe and then one morning go over to Captain Cook's and get a Tonga Toast. If this can't work for you then just flip a coin .

I LOVE the Tonga Toast....probably wouldn't care for the pancakes. Personal preference.

1. Check out some photos online, see which looks more appealing
2. Share with a friend
3. Order both and take the rest back to the room for later?

Honestly, after looking at some pics myself, the pancakes just look like regular pancakes with Macadamia nut butter and pineapple on top. Am I wrong?
Tonga Toast is a force to be reckoned with

Do they sell tonga toast at the counter service? If so get it there on another day. Or convince someone in your party to split each with you.
