People Arriving on Different Days - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi Everyone,

I have used the search and couldn't find an answer to my question. I am going to make a reservation for AoA for me and my 10 year old for 4 days. My husband is going to come down late on the 3rd night for our Disney Cruise the next day. How do I book ME for me and my daughter for 8/24 and then for my husband for 8/28? I was hoping to be able to book online but don't think so. I have called and got two different stories so I thought I'd ask here.

When I called before we decided we were definitely doing this, the CM said I could add him to arrive on 8/28 when I made the ressie. Now that I'm ready to book, I called and was told that I had to add him after I got to the resort and then call ME myself to make a ressie for him. Is this right?

Thanks for any help. We don't need tickets or dining. Just a room only ressie.

That is correct. We have done it multiple times, it's a piece of cake.

Great! Thank you! So then it will be no problem for me to book online and then add him at the resort, right?

I think there is another way to do this. Since you are doing room-only, simply put him on the reservation when you book. Then call in your ME info and give them the separate flight information. We did this last year when we stayed at AoA and my sister joined us later. I simply put her on my reservation for the whole stay and just gave them our separate flight information.

We did this last year and we did it by phone before we left. Call again.

Thank you everyone! I booked online and just called back and the CM added my husband to our ressie and took his flight info so I don't have to do anything when we get there.
