Who here loves CB?

So I been wanting to stay at a Moderate for sometime now. We almost always stay at a Value since we rather spend the extra money having nice dinners. The majority of our time is spent at the parks and Ive realized its because the value hotels don't really have much to offer. I have often found myself at Victoria Falls at AKL or Territory Lounge at WL enjoying drinks and bar snacks. The reason being I rather be anywhere then at the hotel I have booked. I am currently trying to book a Moderate however only one available is CB. Now I know there are some people here who simply LOVE CB. Can you tell me why? CB to me seems like the Bahamas. Have you ever taken a cruise that stopped in Nassau Bahamas? Then you probably had to walk in through the main building at the port. That is exactly what I think of when I think CB. So out of curiosity what appeal does CB have for you?

1. Really pretty and colorful
2. One of the better pools
3. How can you not love tropical theming when going to FL!? I'm a northerner so maybe it's just more important to me to be somewhere tropical feeling.

CBR isn't my favorite moderate- but honestly none of them are. I like all the moderates for different reasons and I think it's got a lot of great features like the other moderates- particularly the theme.

Main drawback to CBR is it being less updated and more bus issues according to most visitors. They each have a few drawbacks though IMO.

I haven't stayed at a moderate yet. I don't know if you have children but we just stayed at Art of Animatiion Little Mermaid in November. It was wonderful the kids loved the pool and the food court was excellent. My 11 year old and I LOVED the surf burger. It was sooooo delicious. We ate at Ohana for breakfast love the tropical feel there and it was also delicious. I think I would love to stay there one day.

CBR is beautiful! It has white, sandy beaches with hammocks to lounge on, beautiful tropical colors and flowers, and a large lake to walk around and enjoy the beautiful sights, villages, and the foliage. The main pool is exceptional and if that pool is too crowded for you then each village has a quiet pool to lounge around. The rooms are large with alot of storage for your stuff. There are two double sinks in the room. The beds are full size and not queen. The food court has alot of choices and we enjoy eating there some times. We, also, like the gift shop. There are several bus stops at CBR. We have always had good bus service when we have stayed at CBR. We usually request Jamaica 44 or 45. It is close to a bus stop and right across the bridge to the main pool, food court, and gift shop. We are going in July, and we are again stay at CBR! Hope you have a great vacation!

We loved everything about CBR. The grounds were beautiful, the pool was fun, and the bus transportation was great. We had a great stay at CBR and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I didn't have any luck with CBR. Just got back and the room was just bleh! Knowing we were only sleeping there I didn't complain but I was so disappointed with the room. Smelly and speckled with mold. The grounds are nice though. Had great luck with the bus system. The staff is fantastic. Maybe I just lost the room lottery there but I never want to return.

You should have complained so the next person doesn't have that experience plus I got a huge resort credit when I had mold in my room at ssr

love cbr and have a hard time thinking about trying out other moderates, when we stay at deluxe resorts I find that we really miss the food court at cbr. Never had any issues, and the bus service has always been good when we have stayed there.Book a stay Im sure you will love it too!
