Best to do DP with lots of character meals/buffets?
I priced out the DP and it seems like we would most likely save some money given the ADRs we have, including Chef Mickey's, Akershus, H&V breakfast, O'hana dinner, BOG dinner, Biergarten dinner. We also have CRT breakfast but this will most likely be OOP.
I am not sure we will use all of our CS credits. As a rule of thumb, though, would you say that given the type ADRs we have, we will save money with the DP?

That is very similar to our family's ADR itinerary. I looked at the menus and prices and since we still have 3 that are still Disney kids ( our older 2 are now Disney adults) and one under 3, it makes sense for us to use the DDP. We are also paying OOP for our breakfast at CRT. The child cost of most of the buffets and character meals are the same or a little more than the child's plan on the DDP.
We usually use all of our left over CS from our resort to go and have food on the way home. If you are flying there are some prepackaged things that you could get that don't break TSA rules. Last edited by 6disneykids; 02-10-2013 at 05:42 PM. Reason: forgot words. |
