Adding extra day to beginning of vacation
To do or not to do?
Baby's bday was scheduled for that day; although, what can be more fun than your 2 year bday at Disney?! Flight will be same price 1830 for five of us. Wish we could do day after last day instead of adding day in the beginning; however, that would cost an additional 500... Should I add the day or not. It's during Easter? |

Thank you for your quick response. I am a disney newbie! Two older boys' bdays are BOTH in the coming weeks (FEB 7 and FEB 14) We are surprised all the boys with a bday present on the Feb 7ths bday that says WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY FOR SPRING BREAK! I am so excited to do this for them.
Also, if we book a VERY early flight out on our last day it will save us 300. Should we save the 300 and take a 720 flight or pay 300 more for an eleven o'clock? I know with both times we will not do anything disney that last day. It would be like the 300 is allowing us to sleep in those three extra hours. |

I vote you add the extra day at the beginning! What a great place to celebrate a birthday! Especially for a 2 year old
You will be able to relax more because you will have more time to see everything.

. As far as the flight....if it were me, I'd pay the $300 and take the 11:00. We usually take a 1:00-2:00 pm flight home, giving us time for a nice TS breakfast at our resort in the morning then back to the room to get our luggage, check out, then head to the airport. We don't even take the early morning flights going to Disney (we usually add a night and get in late the night before), so I know I wouldn't be able to take a 7:20 a.m. flight home. But as the pp said, you know your kids best, so if you think that early flight would be fine, save the $300; but if you think everyone would do better with a little extra sleep, pay the extra money and take the later flight. Good luck and have a great trip .

yea my kids get up at 550 everyday to go to before school care. They are used to getting up early; however, not sure how getting up early to leave disney would go. If it were up to me, I would save the 300. I am thinking that my husband will not go for this though hahaha.

Disney likes to make sure you are on time for your flight, early flight means early ME. I believe about 3hrs early
