Concierge Levels at Poly or GF
I am trying to find out about the concierge level at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian.
Is the "Tonga" building connected to the main building where the monorail is without going outside? Or are all the concierge rooms only in the Hawaii building? And is the "Sugar Loaf" building close to the main building? My Dad isn't able to walk a whole lot and I want to make sure he will be ok. I know the Contemporary is all in the same building, but we've been there and are looking for something different. Thanks!

it is! they have two separate club levels, one in sugarloaf and one in the main building.
at the poly, i am pretty sure that no rooms are in a building that connects to the main building. but we have stayed in hawaii and the walk to the main building is really quick (my mom has mobility issues, so i totally get it). not to go off topic but if you can possibly convince dad to rent a scooter it might make things easier. my mom never wanted to but was so glad she did! |

Right now it's a pride thing. He's stubborn. We are working on him trying out a cane for right now, but it didn't go over so well.

At the Poly, the Great Ceremonial House (main building) isn't connected to any longhouse, but CL rooms aren't that far of a walk. At the GF, there are two club levels. Royal Palm Club (RPC) is located on the 4th floor of the main building and Sugar Loaf (SL) is located in an outer building that's right next to the main building and is not a far walk to the main building to catch the monorail, dine, or shop.

RPC is amazing and so convenient to monorail. We are trying out the Hawaii building at Poly this time (it's saving a lot of $$$$) but I think we are really going to miss the convince of RPC. Maybe you can book with pin or AP discount and make it work, I think that would a great option for your dad.
