Which dates to visit?
We are thinking of going in October, but we can be somewhat flexible on our dates. Any particular weeks in Oct that we should avoid? We are thinking of going the last week in Oct. We went the second week in Dec last year and crowds were fairly low and weather was pleasant. How does October compare. Thanks!

A friend of mine went a few years ago the last week in October and she said the closer it got to Halloween eve, the more crowded it got. Between MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival, it can get crowded as you get closer to the weekend.
She said the weather was very pleasant; still somewhat warm during the day, but the evenings were very nice. |

We went during the end of September, begining of October a few years ago and it was hands down our favorite time to go. The weather was almost summerlike so you can really enjoy the pools, the crowds were low and the resort rates were low, and we got to do MNSSHP.

We went first week of October 2011. Was the best. The weather was in mid 80's. We barely waited for any ride. Kids still swam every day.
There were a few nights where they closed early and had mickeys not so scary Halloween party. It was a great time to go. |
