EMH @ AK - Tusker House Breakfast question
We're spending our one day at AK on an EMH (am) day, as it fits best in our schedule. I do have a question though ....
We're planning to have breakfast at Tusker House and I'm just curious what timing of an ADR would most allow us to maximize our time? Since it is an AM EMH day, the park will open for resort guests at the same time that Tusker House opens... that said, would it be better to have a later breakfast and 'tour' for a bit before? My current ADR is for 8:25, but I'm thinking about maybe doing one around 10 instead. I appreciate your responses!! |

I would go with the later one. That 8:25 gives you absolutely no time to do anything other than check in for your breakfast.

honestly, I'd make it a lunch instead. So you'll have a few hours before the crowds really start to get all the headliners done. even an early lunch at 11:00ish would be good. You'd be able to get the safari, river rapids, dinosaur and EE done by then.

I would do the 10:00 breakfast. You'll be able to get the main attractions done before then and breakfast/characters will be much less busy at 10. We prefer the breakfast at TH over lunch.

Whenever I book a breakfast ADR, within a park, I try to book it for an EMH morning. Then, I plan on it being around 10-10:30. This way, I get almost 2 hrs of park time, without crowds, then I eat a late breakfast leaving little need for a regular lunch!!! I can get a nice snack around 2ish, then plan on dinner around 6ish.

DEFINITELY go for a 10/10:30 ADR for breakfast!
I did this in Sept! We arrived for the 8am rope drop, straight to EE, rode 4 times, over to the safari, rode once, and if you wanted to stop for Dinosaur, there's more than enough time for that too! Then you head over to Tusker for breakfast, and then hit up characters and shows afterwards!

We do breakfast at TH every trip and always book the last breakfast seating. That usually gives us plenty of time to get our morning touring done plus they generally switch over to lunch part way through our meal so we get both breakfast and lunch.

Moving to the Dining board where all restaurant and dining questions should be recorded.

That is what we are doing on our EMH, breakfast at 9:50am so we have almost two hours to do stuff before breakfast.
