My Magic + and resort only reservations - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I've scanned through two huge threads and started to get a headache, so hopefully some of you will indulge me...

We're going to WDW in February, staying at CBR. I've planned to buy tickets through my workplace discount. I'd love to use My Magic + and the Fast Plus + benefit if it's available by then, but on the podcast they said it was for people who have resort reservations and park tickets. How will Disney know I have park tickets? Do you have to buy tickets through Disney? Anything I should be doing now to take advantage of any of this?

I don't have an answer - I'd like more information on this too! We have room only reservations and are planning to buy APs.

I believe if you buy tickets from another source, you enter the ticket number into the website. If you do not buy tickets ahead of time then you will be able to make fp+ at the park kiosks. Who knows when fp+ will roll out to all guests. It may start with just a few

"FP + What we know and what we want to know" is the title of a thread that is addressing all the FP+ questions/concerns/info.....looks like the FP+ won't be in affect until spring (so Feb, might not have it yet)
