Parking at Beach club or Board walk

If we were to have Reservations for Yatchman's steak house at beach club, and parked at one of these resorts, would we be able to go into Epcot?

I know we probably can, just don't want to break any rules as far as parking goes. We would like to eat at the steak house and then go into WS to shop and watch Illuminations.

Definitely park at the Beach Club. that gives the best access to Yachtsman. And - yes - you can go into Epcot. I do it all the time!

That's right..we do too..it's common practice and not an issue.

Parking is for resort guests only OR ADR's for a limit of three hours.

You cannot park for an extended amount of time, and then go off to the parks.

You can however valet park for a fee of $14.00 per day.

Like I said - I've done it all the time never had and issue, but I'm sure its one of those answers I could get flamed for. I've also had an ADR at Cali or the Wave and parked there, eaten, and gone into the MK. Never once have I had an attendant tell me there was a three hour limit. Usually I am back at the car in 3 or 4 hours.

Edited to say - I was there during a holiday period where they did check to make sure my name was on the Cali Grill ADR list.

Yes, but you added you were back at the car within the time limit.

Your first post would give the OP the impression they could stay there all day, which is totally incorrect.

you can for 3 hours or unlimited time if you valet for $15. You are not a guest of those resorts you are stealing money from DIsney if you park longer than the 3 hrs as you are not paying for theme park parking like everyone else. PLUS you take away self parking for guests of the hotel which is rude

We are already staying at another WDW resort, so I wouldn't be paying to park anyway.

We park there all the time and its never been an issue...Go to Epcot and enjoy your day. NO issues. No one cares.

I would care if I was staying there and couldn't find a parking space. I've had that happen many times at Boardwalk, going round and round trying to find an empty spot. I complained to the manager one time, he said that is why DVC members have free valet. Well, we don't have free valet anymore. So I have to pay for valet at my own resort because other people are parking and going to Epcot?

If they don't care why is there a sign at the entrance, saying they do not provide parking to access the theme parks.

there is also a 70mph sign on most freeways....but we all know most go over..
Look, if someone doesnt want to park at beach club...dont..if someone does...thats fine also...different strokes for different folks. I know and have talked to people i dont know that has done it many many times and i know people personally that has/does....its a non issue. But, if one doesn't want to...thats ok also. Its just a difference of opinion.

Can and should are two different things. Are you supposed to do it; no? I believe it is 2 hours you allowed to park and dine. The exception being if you utilize valet parking. In that case, I believe you are allowed to go to the parks as well as dine at the hotel.

Please, OP: park at BC/YC for your reservation (you're allowed up to 3 hours for this). Then if you wish to go to EPCOT, drive to the EPCOT parking lot. That or pay to park in the valet section of the BC/YC lot. There's probably nothing that would prevent you from going into EPCOT, and you might not be towed, but that doesn't make it the right thing to do per accepted rules regarding parking at the resorts. Please keep in mind those guests who have paid a lot of money to stay at BC or YC, in part, because of their location.
