When is free dining typically? - The DIS Discussion Forums

when do they typically offer free dining plan? Is early sept a good time to expect possible free dining? When do they post the official dates? Thinking about 2014 trip... Just doing some prelim research...

They usually offer it in the late Summer and Fall.

But Disney has been scaling back on the free dining offers so there is no telling what they will or will not be offering in 2014.

You can go to mousesavers and do a search for "historical discounts" and it will bring up a chart showing you the past few years of discounts.

Typically the fd is announced in the beginning of March for early fall. AS the pp said though things may change this year as there are no general public dining discounts out thus far!!

Here's a link to Mouse Savers, they have a chart of historical discounts. It's not guaranteed that it will stay the same but at least you'll have an idea. Even if you book now and the discount comes out later, you can call and get the discount. http://www.mousesavers.com/historica...ort-discounts/
