OMG I can't stand the new website.
It looks nice but nothing loads, pages keep freezing, pages just don't load when you click on them, and I don't like how room only reservations don't show the nightly rate like they used to. Am I the only one having issues with it?

I agree it takes some getting used to. To see the nightly room rate, you need to click on "view price per night" that appears right below the average/night for a particular room category when you pull up a resort. Clicking that will bring up a window that lists each night of your stay and shows the rate per night before taxes. It took me quite some time to figure this out.

I have been having similar issues with the new website. They can't find my reservations even after I have manually re-entered them, pages don't load and simply come up blank...it's ridiculous.

I agree. I need to cancel a reservation, and can't. I was on hold for 45 minutes when I called, and I can't sit and wait anymore.

I checked out the new website a few days ago and had the same issues - nothing would upload. I just checked back and they have the old website up. I guess they need to fix some major issues
DH is in IT and it baffles him that they would ever change the site until all the bugs were worked out.

I like the look of the new website, but so far I cannot link my reservations to it at all. Very frustrating.

It is a huge headache! I have literally spent days setting up these profiles and linking all family members and it STILL won't recognize my Be Our Guest reservation. I did manage to get all my other resort and dining reservations entered. But it has taken several attempts. Oh, and it still won't recognize my annual pass. Super annoying!!!!!

So far so good for making/cancelling ADRs from here in Canada?? I am so sorry for everyone else that is stuck with this seemingly useless website. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I've been frustrated with the website for awhile now, even the old one. I look at large companies like Royal Caribbean who have great websites that I have used lots, had no problem with doing things like book shore excursions and so on.
I work for an ad agency, so I don't know why it surprises me that a large company would have such an awful and non-functional website. Our huge client has an awful IT dept that makes it extremely difficult to get websites live. Is there quality control or testing before the site goes live? |

I sent an email on 12/17 to which I got a reply on 12/18. No response from the resorts online team. I won't hold my breath but I will continue to contact them. Reply to my email is below:
"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort. Your message has been forwarded to the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online team. We are sorry for the disappointments you experienced with the new My Reservations page. Please know your comments have been shared with various areas of our Online Team. This allows us to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us." |
