8 day Magic Western port adventures, Tropicante ?
I know I've read about Tropicante in Costa Maya as being a good place to go.
But looking at the website for it, I don't see a cost. Maybe I'm too tired to figure it out. Anyone have the info or link? Also I have a question about Grand Cayman and the dolphin/turtle farm tour. After the dolphin swim is there really any time left at the turtle farm? it says you have 45 min then at the farm, can you stay later? My dtr LOVES turtles!!! thanks!!

Tropicante is free- just pay for food and drink. There is a link to contact Steve and reserve chairs but I don't know how to do it-sorry.
He will email you back with all the info. You just take a taxi. Linda

BRING CASH. They don't take plastic and none of the ATMs in the area work.

We did Tropicante and Steve chatted with us personally and was super friendly, but the walk and taxi ride there was a bit too rough for my taste, and the property itself was also. Think hole-in-the wall restaurant with loungers and tables set up next to the beach. No shower facilities at all, and only very basic restroom facilities, so absolutely no way to rinse salt water off. I did the cheap $25/hour massage, and tried not to think how many people had used the towels I was resting on as I know they're not refreshed between guests. Steve said he has 3 hours of running water available in the morning and again in the afternoon/evening, so I bet they really ration wash water. I just tried not to think about it and enjoy my cheap massage. If I'd have known how rustic it was I likely would have made a different choice ata Costa Maya - likely only got off for 1-2 hours to visit the pool right at the port and then gone back on the ship.
