I think if you haven't switched to the new Disney website design it won't load.

Yep. 60 days. Do you really need 2 months to check in?

Yep you were correct. Once I switched to new version it loaded fine.

I wonder if this somehow connected to FP+? The online guidelines of the upcoming new experience references a 60 day window to pan your events. Seems strange that the 60 day number is being introduced at the same time.

I think you are right. One thing that I noticed, and has been discussed in other threads, is that if you opt for FP+ (reserving FP Times in advance) you won't be eligible for regular FP ticketing. It's an either/or option for fastpass. Once implemented, we would be able to pick FP+ attractions at the 60 day mark, so I guess they are saying, you have to be "checked in" in order to book your FP+. Would that mean that we would have to be Paid In Full prior to checking in before booking FP+?

Right now, Paid In Full isn't required until 45 days out. That's a 15 day difference between checking in and booking FP+ and paying off your vacation.

I wonder if Disney has thought through all of the potential scenarios?

I tried to do online check in today and was told to try again later. We check in on dec 30th so its only 15 days out.

to register your reservation, you need the longer confirmation code, not the one with letters & numbers that is 7 or 8 digits, you need to use the 12? digit confirmation code. you will also have to manual enter all your dining reservations. but on a positive note, the 'my itinerary' section is pretty cool, I hope that they expand it to add calendars and such

Package reservations can use the code with the letters in it - that's their confirmation number. The 12 digit code is for rooms.

It's just buggy right now.

system is def buggy. I assume the 60 day online check in is due to the fact once FastPass + is live you can make your "ressies" for FP+ at the 60 day window. I am betting u must be "checked in" online in order to do so.

I'm not sure I could check in 60 days prior and settle in on that resort reservation without the possibility of changing it.

Interesting....you can check-in @ 60 days out (theoretically), but don't have to be paid off until the 45 day mark. I wonder how that will work for Disney. Will they have to disallow any check-in unless the reservation is 100% paid in full?
