Let's Stay somewhere cheap.... like the Deluxes! (Updated 5/07!))

Hello! So welcome to my first ever trip report. I know Im planning this trip 11 months in advanced, but just the basics of this trip are getting planned now, and in hilarious ways. Some of you checking in might already know of my many instances of head-desking when I try to explain things that seem obvious to me, an avid DIS-er, to my fellow trip mates. But first, the very very basic information the Who what where when and why of this trip!
This first post will be the who:
Me- Elizabeth, who will be 25 and turning 26 on this trip, hopefully, if all goes according to plan. We might need to move the dates around though but more info on that later. Princess fanatic, dog lover, and Disney obsessed since the age of 5.

here come the ones who will not be photographed. Basically, were all terrified of the camera. Youre lucky I even found that photo, even though its at evil IoA. It was me, pre-jaw surgery, and super chubby/ camera shy.

My Mother- Not Disney obsessed, likes to go, but would rather hang by the pool and have some down time. Not on the same page as her commando, must plan every aspect of every trip daughter. I think she only likes Disney because it makes me happy, and she likes seeing me happy, although she is the one who suggested this trip... so i think she secretly loves Disney as much as I do

My Aunt- My mothers twin and my 2nd mother- using this trip to get back at her husband for going out west skiing without her. Thats a WHOLE nother story, but shes super excited although she doesnt want to go to Disney world aka Magic Kingdom. She only wants to go to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. She hasnt been since there was just Magic Kingdom and Epcot, so Im excited to see her reactions


And the potential 4th player, depending- My other Aunt, my moms oldest sister-
Pretty laid back and easy going, were sure shell just go along with whatever we plan, but my mom isnt sure, so shes my wildcard in planning this trip, if she even goes. Itll be her birthday too, as I was born on her birthday! Yay! So Im hoping she comes, because itll be fun!

That would be because I only noticed when you posted this!


Go to that first post. Hit the Edit Button.
When you get to the edit mode, there will be another button that says Go Advanced at the bottom right hand. Hit that button.
The screen should change to provide you with the smilies and the title line. You should be able to change your title in the text field.

Wow, the Princess marathon sounds so amazing. I'm working on getting into better shape, and now I'm like, "Hmmmm...." That would be a blast if I could get myself into that kind of running shape. We'll see. Haha.

I'm SO glad your mom went with Boardwalk Villas instead of Doubletree. In all the times we've went to Disney, we've NEVER stayed off site. Even if we ended up in a value, we much preferred it to offsite because, hello? It's DISNEY. So I'm glad that it worked out for you and you won't have a damper on your magic. Especially during your birthday!

it is a LOT of fun. And if you had told me 2 years ago when I first found out about this race that i'd not only finish, but do a bunch of other races and love to run... i'd probably laugh hysterically. But like I said in my intro, I'm a disney princess junkie so I used this race as motivation. That and chowing down on some mickey waffles. So its a good goal to have to motivate you! I believe in you!!!!!

i'm glad it worked out too. my mom is a lot more excited about this trip now! She found out from some of her friends about the new Vera Bradley line of disney bags and was curious, then i said the magical words... "you know they make Disney dooneys right?" "WHAT?!" so now she wants to see this mythical wall of Disney dooneys I said existed at World of Disney haha
