Will we need to pay for fussy eater

We ave a seriously fussy eater who would be happy living on garlic bread and jam (Jelly) sandwiches. If we were to go to a buffet maybe character meal would we still need to pay for him even though he would probably only eat from my plate and like I said bread and maybe a coulple of fries at best. He will be 3 in January and we travel March.

(won't touch mac n cheese, pizza, chicken nuggets you know the usual kids meals at Disney)

Thanks.

1) Yes, you must pay at buffets or all-you-can-eat places.
2) Not Disney's fault for eating habits.
3) They have no way to monitor if the kid at anything, or how much
4) Everyone over 2-yrs must pay, regardless how much they eat.

My understand is that kids under three do not pay for food is they share their parents plate but I'm sure others will come along with a better answer.

Under 3. If he's 3 at travel time, you will still have to pay for him at buffets. If it's a sit down meal, you wouldn't have to if he was eating from your plate.

This is the way I understand it, as well. We have 2 semi-fussy eaters, but surprisingly they always seem to find something at the buffet, when they get to choose; although it does make some interesting food combinations. good luck.

Yes, 3 and over will have to pay at buffets no matter what, or if, they eat!

At any buffet or character meal, yes, you will have to pay for him unless he is under 3 years old.

He will turn 3 before your trip, so you should plan to pay for him.

Disney is a stickler regarding what/when they charge for their buffets and character dining. Age determines the price, not what or how much a person/child eats.

Give him his own plate, let him look and pick for himself, he may surprise you!

Perhaps you are too new to know that the Disboards has rules against making suggestions that break Disney rules/policies.

We'll just skip the usual ethical/moral/legal issues

This isn't the first time that the suggestion to circumvent Disney's age rules has been suggested. The other thread was closed, but I guess this poster still doesn't know the DIS guidelines.

Better yet, let him celebrate the fantastic mile stone of being three years old! And that now he's old enough to walk the buffet line with his parents, picking out anything he's willing to try!

He can tell the waitress he's this many!

Mine's 16 now, it goes by so fast!
