GF distances question
We are thinking about moving from BC to GF for our trip in two weeks
. We always stay in "single building" deluxes (CR, WL, BC). If we move to a regular room at GF (outer building garden), how far is that from the lobby? Do you still pass through the lobby on your way everywhere? Or is there a faster route when taking the bus? I have been told the GF is the quintessential holiday hotel, but that wont be as neat if you bypass the decorations.

Generally, the buildings to the sides are not far, but it all depends on how much you are willing to walk. To really see it, go to www.allearsnet.com and go under the resort for a map. It will show you the layout better and you can decide for yourself if the walk would be too much.

We stayed in the Sugarloaf Building at the GF a few years ago. You do walk thought the main building to get to the monorail but do not need to for the boat or buses. Some of the buildings are a decent walk away but none of them are really far. You definitely walk a lot at that hotel if you are not in the main building but it didn't bother us.
We loved the BC better. The pool is fantastic!

We stayed in Sago Cay. Close to fast food and marina. When we used the buses, we walked a short-cut around the main building to the bus stops instead of walking through. Far from the main pool, but not a problem.
