Resort Room Decor We WISH Was FOR SALE!!

OK--this thread is inspired by another thread I was reading regarding people stealing decor from resort rooms causing WDW to place little signs "reminding" guests that they will be charged if they take the items. Really?? So sad something like that has to be spelled out for WDW to recoup the losses.

Anyhoo......given that Disney is all about the almighty dollar and they have HOOKED us on the magic, I thought it would be fun to give Disney a few hints on items that we would LOVE to see for sale that currently are not. Maybe they will get the hint and stuff a new "resort store" with our favorite must-haves

There are two items at the top of my list. I would love to purchase those adorable new character shower tiles they installed at the WL. Absolutely beautiful! And not too in-your-face Disney given the neutral tile color. Love them.

The second item would be the blue and white tropical pillows on the beds at the Poly. I just think they are divine. Some may think that is weird but hey--beauty is in the eye of the beholder

So what tops your list??????

I love those huge, round pillows at CSR and the headboards from the Poly.

Anything from Animal Kingdom Lodge/Villas.

Our master bedroom is Disney Animal Kingdom-themed & I'm always looking to add more to the decor.

Daisy, our master is Akl themed too!
Can I ask what you did?
So far we have a dark bamboo head board, although we went for a more neutral bed linen - like a bamboo colour. I have a number of woven plates on the wall (kinda like behind the welcome desk at Sanaa)
lol... actually have photos from AK that we took - more artsy ones, you would never know its AK - framed on the wall.

Hi! Where did you get the woven plates? Ok, here's what we've got:

Eight African masks on the walls (bought in AK)
About a dozen animal figurines around the room (bought in AK)
Animal Kingdom Lodge resort bedding (bought when JCP was selling)
Animal Kingdom Lodge drapes (bought when JCP was selling)
Many AKL resort pillows (also from JCP)
Last time I bought two drums in AK...have those displayed too.

We also have several PhotoPass pics taken of our family framed & hung on the walls. DH had them blown up HUGE (think gigantic posters) and he framed them (owns a frame shop). We do a different setting each year for our pic (one in front of the safari jeep, the waterfall, etc.).

Yes, and my husband and I really really want the themed shower tiles from Kidani for our future master bath! (the ones with the savanna scene)

The Tiki-figure lamp from the Poly. I have NO idea WHERE I would put it, but it
just makes me smile.

Try Own The Magic. Disney keeps a warehouse of things and sells them after refubs. We have the curtains, bedspread, and throw pillows from the Boardwalk in our bedroom. In our living room is a picture from Boardwalk Villas that looks like a window with the view we have at the Boardwalk. They add new things all the time.

Those are cute but I like the ones that are currently on the bed. They are large square pillows that are just blue and white. Take a look at one of the bed closeups on AllEars and you will see them. I am no good at posting links..LOL

The bed cover at POFQ. Not so much the design but how warm it kept the bed. Also loved the pillows

That's because employees can buy the stuff when they do remodels and get rid of stuff. Then they turn around and sell it for a profit. My sister and her room mate got some dresses once.

I wish my shower had the same tiles as the WL has post-rehab. Those Bambi tiles are adorable!!!!

The new POFQ shower curtain. It would compliment out main bathroom nicely.
