Transferring from POP to FW Cabin?
I'm staying at Fort Wilderness Cabins from Jan. 5-12. For a few reasons, I decided to fly in the night before and stay at Pop Century. I'm only going ot stay there for one night... I've never actually done two hotels in one trip, but I've heard that you can basically have your luggage transferred from one hotel to another. Does that mean it would be possible to have my luggage transferred from POP to the cabins?
Thanks, as always! Richard/Tralfie

Bell services will transfer your luggage. No worries. Call in the morning when you leave pop. When you get to your cabin later, you can call and fort wilderness bell services will bring you your luggage.

Just be sure that anything you may need right away, you keep with you. The luggage transfer is not quick. Plus, they won't bring your luggage to your room (or your cabin) until you call for it. And a small per bag tip is customary.

I suppose in the end it doesn't much matter. I travel pretty light, so it would be easy to take my luggage via bus to the Magic Kingdom and then grab the boat over to Fort Wilderness.

Unfortunately that won't work. Disney doesn't allow luggage on the resort buses, so if you have anything more than a backpack they won't allow you on.

Yes, you can use resort luggage transfer - then either pick it up at FW BS with your golf cart, or have FW BS deliver it to your cabin upon arrival. Easy peasy.
