Bistro de Paris
Any more news about when they are re-opening and their new menu yet?
Thanks in advance |

I asked about a week ago and no one really knows. Supposedly going to be more family friendly, though
We did make ADR's here for mid January all the same!

Sadly, we got an email yesterday canceling out 12/10/12 ressie. Luckily, we made alternate arrangements months ago. :-(

Nothing at all except the renovation has apparently been extended a few more days.

This has been frustrating for me as well. We have Christmas night reservations here and not sure they'll be up and running. Also wish they'd put out a menu. We do have a backup ressie elsewhere just in case. Any news from DISers would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also have ressies here- on Dec 14th. I haven't heard anything about being cancelled, yet. I called Disney hotline and was told that my reservations still stood and that the restaurant should be open... Not sure how reliable they are though.
I made alternate plans, but still hope I'll make it in. Not sure how good it's gonna be in the 1st week of opening , though. I don't want to waste 2 meal credits on a chaotic, poorly executed meal.

They're not operated by Disney, so they may not handle things the way Disney usually does.

Our original ADR was for 12/5 and we got an email a month ago which canceled it (actually switched it to Chefs.) We switched to accomodate that and got Bistro for 12/8. About a week or 10 days ago we got an email canceling the 12/8 Bistro as well. Had to scramble to switch things around and find a fill in. Since 12/8 is our last night, we'll just have to wait till next visit in 2014, to try the new and improved Bistro.

Is it going to be on the dining plan next year? I was told by Disney Dining that it was but on the PDF online it doesn't show it as an option. Has anyone heard one way or another?

The PDF of the DDP brochure was printed back in July and they normally don't finalize the contracts with the restaurants until December, but if you go to the Disney Dining Reservations site, it shows BdP as participating in the plan for 2013
