Good Eve,

So I thought I would try to make some T-Shirts for my upcoming trip but I can not get the iron on to stick. What am I doing wrong???

I purchased a Hanes Cotton tee and
Tranfermations brand iron on sheets. Says to use a laserjet...not sure if mine is a laser. Would that make a difference??

I never heard of anyone on here using a laserjet printer. Amy(Mickey) sells the best transfers and they are for inkjet only. Mine and many MANY DISers had ours work terrifically!!

Is the transfere for dark or light shirts?

I use dark shirts, and you print, peal, place, iron

Every brand is different...

The other problem may be, if you are supposed to oral after ironing, is printing on the wrong side of the paper...

Are their instructions on the package?

Laser printer transfers are almost always for heat press machines. This is because laser printers do a fuse heat when they print, so it takes between 375-425 degrees of heat to transfer the image. Ink Jet does not use a heat fuse, so it takes a lower temp to transfer.

I just found this out after talking to my hubby about my shirts I want to make (he is a graphic artist and works for a print shop).

That might be why mine did not wrong....the transfer used peeled right off the shirt.

Thanks
