Pirate show on Fantasy question

My first experience with the pirate show was on the Wonder, and my friends and I really enjoyed it, with Mickey zip lining over the crowd and he use of all the different characters. When we went on the Dream and had a different, Jack Sparrow themed show, have to admit we were disappointed. We thought that maybe they would change it (we were one one of the first Dream cruises and thought maybe they were still "workshopping it") but when we went on the Dream again earlier this year, we were bummed (well as bummed as you can be on a dcl) that it was still the same show.

So, my question is, is the pirate show on the Fantasy the same as the Dream? We go in 109 days (but who's counting) and I'm curious what we have to look forward to. Thanks

The Fantasy's show is similar to the Dream's, but it sounds like you missed the more kid-friendly character theme early show that is held between the dinner seatings. There is no ziplining due to the distance between the funnels on the bigger ships.

So there is a show with Mickey and the others between dinners? And a second show with the weird jack sparrow and zombie thing after dinner? If so, that would be pretty awesome!

Yes, they moved the character party to the earlier timeframe when the Dream was released in response to the comments from parents that their kids couldn't participate in the later party. That is when the "scarier" stuff happens, along with the fireworks.

Can't answer your question, but I think we'll be on the same cruise

On the Fantasy they had "Mickey's Pirate Party" early in the evening and the pirate deck party (don't remember what they called it exactly) at 10:30 or so with fireworks and then buffet.

Yes, the earlier one was intended to respond to parent complaints that the other was too late for kids.

I'm on the Jan. 19th too!!!!

So the 2 pirate shows are different? And there's a buffet after the show, in addition to the dinner rotation we have? Wait til I tell my husband.

Does anyone remember what time Mickey's Pirate Party was held? We are trying to get Palo's reservations for that night but don't want to miss the show.

I believe the Mickey show was 7:30 and the Jack show at 10:30. My DS had a Pirate League appt. at 8:15 in between shows. Both shows only last maybe 20 minutes.

We were able to get pics with Capt. Jack in between too. Those are some of the best pictures from our cruise. I made the mistake of calling him Jack and he corrected me to Capt. Jack. He played the part very well.
