not at all, we all eat anyhing that swims, walks or grows!

he's not much into the character dining. I would like a place that is fun and could get maybe a dessert with a candle so we can sing for him. it will be our first day at the parks so we will probably start with epcot or magic kingdom.

When you make your ADR just mention the birthday and if you want to order a cake you can do it then. If not if you just tell your server try will bring a cupcake or mini cake with a candle anyway. I you are at MK I would take the monorail to Polynesian to eat at Ohana. If you are at Epcot Teppan Edo is fun.

Sci Fi Dine In at Hollywood Studios might be fun for him- you eat in big cars and watch sci Fi movies. It looks like an outdoor drive in movie theater; it's neat!
TRex is another option-It's at Downtown Disney and is dinosaur themed.
Tepan Edo is fun at Epcot- It's hibachi style so it's very entertaining for kids!
We always get a birthday dessert with a candle when we celebrate at Disney. Our servers usually make a big fuss. Have fun! I have a post on my blog about celebrating b-days at Disney if you are interested! See link below!
