Hey Everyone!
I'll be in Cali Oct 10-15. I want to check out the Halloween party but am not sure if it will be a definite thing. Probably won't know until the 10th.. Do tickets sell out days in advanced? And yea I misspelled tickets.. Lol |

I used to work at Disneyland and last Halloween, the only party that sold out was the very first one. I think you will be totally fine.

There were reports last year of several parties selling out. The very first party sold out, as did the parties for Gay Days and UEA. Also, we went on 10/23, and there were signs in the Esplanade saying that the party was sold out. Halloween night has sold out for the past 2 years. My info is based on reports from last year on other boards where posters were desparately seeking tickets for sold out parties for a handful of dates and from personal experience of seeing the sold out signs in the esplanade on more than one night.
But even if a party does sell out, it doesn't usually happen until much closer to the actual party date. |

yeah luckyrabbit is right....there were several parties sold out...I go every year and I personally know of 3 that did...I myself would never wait until just a week before a party...I buy my tix 2 months in adv....for the time you are going, the only option is the 12th and that is on a friday...so you are talking 2 days only between the time that you would know and the party actually taking place...i wouldnt chance it...fridays are always busier than tuesdays

We are very forgiving of Christopher-Robin-esque spelling here.

You're right guys, now that I'm thinking about it, there were few more that sold out. I clearly remember the first one selling out really quick. I think it sold out before people were let in the park. It was completely crowded that day.
There still shouldn't be a problem. Tickets sell more as the dates get closer.

So what if I can't make it, is there anyway to get rid of the tickets?

Technically, you can't resell them, but I seriously doubt Disney would be scrutinizing a transaction where you were to, say, sell the tickets to your brother or daughter or next door neighbor for the face value of the ticket. |

I take it a sold-out party is a packed park? I think I'll skip it and if it's sold out when we're there, we'll go to DCA. That's open to PH holders during the party, right?
