Hurricane Hannas?

I just read that Hurricane Hannas will be closed for an extensive refurbishment starting today with no re-open date. Anyone know if you will still be able to get drinks at the bar? We will arrive at YC Sept. 16th and really want drinks at the pool. TIA

WE too are very disappointed. This will be our first time staying at the BCV and was so looking forward to enjoying HH during our stay.

For what it is worth, I did just called the BCV and asked if they could confirm HH's closing. They kept me on hold for awhile. Ultimately they said that nothing has been planned and HH will remain open (we are staying there from the 20th to the 30th).

I do know that Allears website did post HH as closing with no date for the reopening but like I said, BCV states the information is inaccurate. I sure hope the CM I spoke to is correct!

Based on info in the BC/YC thread on the resorts board - the refurb for HH has been pushed back until 'the end' of August when crowd levels go down - there is no set date now. Also it has been confirmed that there will still be waiter/waitress service on the pool deck - I do not know where the 'walk-up' bar service would be during the refurb. There will be alternative means of getting food/drink.

You should check the aforementioned thread for the most up-to-date info on the HH closing.

I checked such thread and there's no info posted on HH's at all. There are hundreds of pages on that thread, i went thru the last few pages and found ZILCH, NADA, NOTHING. Can you give us a link? im really curious! Thanks.

The entire thing is boarded off. You cannot get drinks at the bar or access to the drink station. Walked by there once when the construction guys had the fence open and the building has been completely gutted; they appear to be rebuilding it from the inside out.
