Hello! This is my first attempt at a PTR and I am hoping I get some people following along. I tend to ramble on, so lets cross our fingers I don't do that to much!

Cast of this trip is:
Myself (Erin) and DH (Chad)

My Oldest

The Middle Son

and finally our Baby!

We are going at the end of September 2012, for ours Oldests 10th Birthday. We are also hoping my mom will be joining us, but more on that later on!

I have just started my first PTR too! Have done the big ( one month in the states!!! ) report, but didn't do the pre trip thingy before we went!

Can't wait to go back!

Well A little about 'us'

Chad and I have been married almost 10 years (in June, and the time went by sooo fast!). We have 3 great boys. E will be 10 (during the trip) L will be 7 in June and C will be 3 in November.
We are from Alberta Canada, originally from Calgary but living in the small city of Camrose now.

I am a stay at home mom, while attempting to go back to school to become a certified Travel Agent. DH is a supervisor at a local Pipe coating plant, and the kids do what kids do!

We have done DL a few times but its been years the first trip, my oldest 2 weren't even in grade school. We have also been to WDW 3 times with kids and the last time was adults only this past January. Can you say I am addicted? DH keeps telling me there are other places to visit other then the Mouse, but I refuse to listen!

YAHOO!!!!

Mom called today and the doctor has told her she can go, they will schedule her chemo treatments around the trip. The next obstacle will be finding trip insurance do to the cancer treatments. But I will find something!

So this is my mom (Vi) and C when he was 6 mths old, who is joining our adventure!

So now I need to find something at a decent price across the street from DL that will fit the 6 of us, and I think I may have!

We are looking at Del Sol, it shares the parking lot of Dennys and we can get 2 queen beds, with a set of bunk beds, for only 644 including taxes! For 6 people thats a great price. No one else has come close to that and I have had good reviews on it from both here and Liners. plus trip advisor has had good reviews (and some bad to be expected) so we will be booking that today.

We told the kids last night, I wanted to wait but Dh said whats the point.

so we told them. They are excited. L more because of Car Land opening. I just hope some of the rumors are wrong about a few attractions down for Refurb! Big Thunder was down in DW when we were there in January, I hope its not in Sept at DL!

Oh and a few more things to research, Scooter retal for mom, and airport transfers!
We normally rent a car, but to hold all 6 of us, the cost of a van and parking is out of the question.
So any imput on this is very welcome, and really imput on anything is welcom!

Yes country is big in this house! We saw Kellie Pickler, Blake Shelton, caught a bit of Dwight Yokham, Toby Keith, Michelle Wright, kix Brooks and Rascal Flatts. Not sure if we will do it again next year, but the have announced Alan Jackson, and I have yet to see him in concert!

I got my shirts finally. So now I need to make them. E has one that is for his bday, and now L wants one to match saying its his brothers bday! I have journals and activity books to print as well. Guess I better start! At least I can photocopy the activity books at cadets if needed!

Only 25 more days till trip 1, I set aside $1000 and then whatever we make next weekend in our garage sale ( selling all the baby stuff!) will go to the trip as well.

My mom is very excited, since her chemo changed again she was able to have a month off and then will have 3 weeks between the last treatment and the trip. With that and the scooter, I am sure she will do great!

Well I better sleep it's almost 1am here!

2 MORE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!

So far everything is going well, the school has been notified, everyone is excited to go, and my mom is feeling better.

ACK!!! I can't wait!

How wonderful..................so little time to go, you guys must be soooooo excited!!

I have run out of things to do which is making the waiting drag on a bit! All my shirts have been made and delivered, DD has her Snow White costume which looks amazing and I have organised all the travel visa's, tickets etc.

I find myself drooling over the Disneyland website every day!

I made myself a "you beaut" ( Australian for great!!! ) journal that I am updating as the park hours as released. I have made some changes to some of our days and will be posting the final one as soon as all our park hours are out which is only another 6 days away!

Good news re your Mum!

Oh things are happening, suitcase is being packed, shirts are almost all ready, just need to make my last 2 which are on the schedule today.

Just cleaning the house for my house/dog sitter, and Chad took all 3 boys out camping for the night so I am home all by myself. Its so quiet so I have the tv turned up while I work.

3 sleeps till I drive to Calgary then 1 more sleep and we fly out at 630 am! YAHOOOO!

Friends of ours are there now, another group flies out tomorrow, but will be coming home the day we get there. Then one of my BFF's and her family go down next sunday so we will be able to share some of the fun with them.

I have my photo pass+ in my folder, passports money, printed park pass for my mom, got the conf. numbers for ours, the tickets for the baseball game. Not sure if I am missing anything, but I am sure I will figure it out. Have to print the flight papers Tuesday.
