Post your Eastern Caribbean Excursions here!!!

Please post your reviews and photos of your Eastern Caribbean excurisons!

I will start us off!

St Martin Orient Bay
I rate this excursion a 7.5 out of 10
the transer time was short, the beach was lovely and you had a reserved area with padded lounge chairs. It was ideal for children as the water was shallow and it wasn't crowded. It was a lovely relaxing beach day.
Be aware that the beach is 'clothing optional'.......really didn't notice as used to European topless beaches!!

Afraid we didn't shop, so hopefully someone else can help you with this one!
Would be interested to know if anyone has done excursions in San Juan

St Thomas; My husband did the golf excursion which he said was amazing. Expensive but worth it! This time we are looking for something that we can do as a family on St Thomas/St John.

We are doing our first eastern this year ... for St Thomas, I am thinking about the excursion listed as: full day sail and snorkel turtle cove and honeymoon beach - its for ages 5 and up

DBf and I did the Coral World Ocean Park by Land and Sea in St Thomas

I would rate this excursion 5 out of 10.
We did have an enjoyable time, but we won't do it again. The ride up was beautiful since we had a scenic open air vehicle. The submarine was very nice and it was interesting. Since DBf was in a wheelchair they helped us a lot with getting him everywhere we needed to go.
Afterward we got 90 minutes of free time in Coral World, unfortunately a lot of things either had special times when they'd be happening or places were closed. They did have a vendor serving hotdogs and hamburgers inside and a nice shop. If we had more time I would have loved to visit the beach right next door or do some of the water activities they had.

We did this one and I would highly recommend it. The snorkling was great. You could go around on your own or follow the guide around and he would point out things. The crew was wonderful. Honeymoon beach there was a delicious catered lunch when we arrived and we had a great meal and a few drinks while the kids enjoyed swimming on the beach.

There is another thread on here with a few reviews of the Turtle Cove/Honeymoon Beach excursion, and they are giving it great reviews! Sorry, i don't know how to link the thread to here? Can someone more tech savvy do it?

We are on the Eastern Magic sailing Saturday, and are doing Bernards Tours (reserved with another group from our ship for a private tour). We are skipping Orient Beach and going to the other one since we have small kids and are not wanting to spend the entire time explaining to the boys that some folks walk around topless!

We are also booked for the Turtle Cove/HM Beach excursion through DCL.

I will post a review of both when we get back!

Several years ago on a Carnival Cruise I did one of the open-air Saint Thomas Island Tours that included shopping. Although I enjoyed the scenery, I'm not a big high-end shopper, I prefer locally made items. It was great as an introduction to the island but I wouldn't try it again. Since my husband has never been on a cruise and I've been to Saint Thomas before I'm letting him pick our excursion here.

Never been to Saint Maarten. My husband and I are very active and were thinking about the Hike tour or something with kayaking and snorkeling. Luckily, I get to pick the excursion here.

For Castaway Cay we're probably just doing a beach day here - though we might participate in the 5k run. I know that's not an "official" excursion but has anyone done it before>
