January 18, 2013, A Magical 8 day western
Hello. Any one else coming? This is our first cruise. We are so excited. I hope to meet others that will be on the boat, also.
My girls will be coming also. They will be 5, 7 and 9. So if you have kids that age, I would love to talk, so my girls can get to know other kids they can play with.

We are in! We just officially booked today. This is our first cruise as a family. I have been on a few in high school and college. We are a family with 3 girls 5,9,14. We are also traveling with my mom and another family with a girl who is 9 and a boy who is 11. We are so very excited! We have been to Disney World several times but never a cruise.

Coming over from the 2/1 sailing since it is now a 4 night Cozumel. Happy to go to CC and WDW instead!

I am also coming over from the 2/1 sailing as they have cancelled our original itenerary. Im really looking forward to this cruise.
Im thinking this was suppose to be a 'western' cruise, so hoping the few that are here don't also jump ship ![]() Jenn |

We also just switched from the 2/1 sailing. We didn't want to do 4 nights when we had our hearts set on 8. Not crazy about the new itinerary as we were just at WDW, but getting to go to CC almost makes up for it.
We have 3 girls who will be 3,6, & 8 at sailing & we will be in room 8034.

Hooray for more girls on this sailing! Ours will be 9 and 2 and this trip is a super secret surprise
After the initial shock of the itinerary change sank in, I couldn't be more excited! It really works out much better with a toddler...no excursions to try to juggle, no Mexican taxi rides to get to the beach, one more day at sea AND we get to go to WDW! Is anyone interested in starting a FB group or FE? I am happy to get the FB group up and running and we would love to participate in FE if anyone is inclined to organize. Jen |

However, with this itinerary I am more concerned about the weather. Before, we we going so far south that cold temps wouldn't have been an issue, but from everything I have read online, CC is pretty much hit or miss in January. It could be warm & sunny (but water is almost always chilly) or it could be cold & windy, and many times the boat can't even dock due to high seas. But, many people have also said that the captain tries his hardest to put us there on the best day weather-wise, even if it means changing the days/ports around. Let's hope for the best! Regrettably I cannot commit to participating in a FE. I stay super busy and try not to add anything else to my plate unless absolutely necessary in order to keep my sanity!

Our first cruise as a family and Nana and Papa are coming also. We are giving this as a Christmas gift to our kids. I am soo excited and a little nervous. We have two daughters 11 & 9 and a son 3. We really want it to be a family vacation and we love spending time with our kids. The thing I am most nervous about is....Are there a lot of Family activities? I know they have a lot for kids, but wasn't sure about the entire family???? Thanks for the info!

There are a ton of family activities! In your Navigator, the guide you get every night detailing what activities there are on the ship for the next day, they categorize them by who can participate. Family, or teens or adults only, etc...so you know ahead of time so you can plan your day. Most port adventures are for families too. There is even a family beach on Castaway Cay to enjoy the beach together! My husband and I are the same way with our two boys. We would rather spend time with them, but trust me, knowing they are in good hands in the kids' clubs does give you those moments to decompress and do things with your spouse or your adult family members...and you don't have to worry about the kids being bored...you'll probably have to drag them out of the clubs kicking and screaming! lol (Well, you know, in a good way. )
