Think they will offer any specials?

I still have not pulled the plug and booked an ABD for this year. I was really hoping they would release some type of offer. I so want to do the Germany one, but I can find similar trips that would be so much less expensive.

I even looked to do their Ireland, but HOLY COW is that one costly.

I know, I know. We all love them, but at what price point do you say enough!?

We are considering that one too, but after a cruise and a gift card, are also waiting!
Can I ask wha trips you see as similar?

I have done 2 ABD-Germany and Ireland-both were great but expensive compared to some of the other escorted trips available. I missed out on specials (free cruise) by booking early which bummed me out-I felt penalized for booking early. I can travel most anytime and prefer the shoulder seasons so I did not book anything for 2012 hoping for some incentive. I also don't like the thought of losing a $300 deposit if I cancel after 2 weeks. I doubt I will travel with them again due to price as I can travel with one guide and I don't need the top of the line hotel when I am only there to sleep. When we were in Ireland another tour group was at the same hotel as us and did the same horse and cart tour through the national forest and I know they paid alot less for their tour package. I did not do either of my trips with kids-mine are grown-but I like the way the kids were catered to and how one guide went with the kids. I do love ABD but can't justify their price for a third trip.
