Friends, Wishes & Treats Oct WDW Trip ~ ~Aloha! HI cruise TR is complete!
Hello all!
My DD Megan and I are going back to WDW much earlier than we ever thought! After our trip in March for Megan's birthday and dream trip (TR at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2676868) the opportunity to return in October was just too great to not take.  We have met a very wonderful family here on the DIS - DIS Name "blessedmom4" Judy, her DH Pete, kid's Christian, David, Rachel and a special little princess....Lisa! (their PTR - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2572447) if you want to meet this wonderful family, please take a look...even with all their challenges they meet each day with smiles, love and support for others! Little Princess Lisa is going on her MAW trip in October and we have become "family" over the past few months....Judy and I are even "Aunties" now and Pete "Uncle" to our kids and we are lucky enough to be a small part of their trip! We will be attending MNSSHP on October 18 together, a visit to them at GKTW (GiveKidsTheWorld) and a big night at Houes of Blues 10/14! Rachel, who is a beautiful guitar player is going to be the opening act that night along with her dad in the restaurant at 8 pm....along with Lisa going on her MAW trip and Rachel's opportunity to play at the HOB, I knew in my heart we had to be a small part of their trip. When Lisa made her "wish" with her wish granters....the first one was to go to WDW and her second one was to meet Megan and I....so helping to make that wish come true brings so much joy to my heart  This trip for Megan and I is totally different from our spring trip, we are staying at POFQ ....ssh, surprising Megan with it....doing QS and plan on winging our days, no set plans except for MNSSHP, HOB and a carriage ride at POFQ on Sunday with some other friends from DIS...we have a few other DIS friends who will be there at the same time we hope to meet up with. For the planner in me, this had been a strange thing for me not to plan each day out ahead of time....our first day which ever bus is there when we get to the stop is where we will go for the day! I am super excited for your "bonus" trip... and I am even more excited to hear about it when you get back! I love your idea of "which ever bus is there first"... splended! That would just be so much fun - the planner in me says "no way" - so does the frugal person in me... but my adventerous side is very intrigued. LOL Waving to Megan too... D~

believe me, the no planning for ADR's/park days, tours, etc is so not like me...I feel a little unbalance because of it....but need to be more spontaneous and I am trying to go with the flow and "Learn to dance in the rain"... we won't do the "first bus" every day, but thought it would be fun the the first one! also planning more down time so we can enjoy the resort and pool actually got 6 days of tickets for our 8 day trip and plan on having more time at DTD and maybe do some resort hopping too. I've been to WDW twice, and never been to DTD - so this time, we purposely scheduled an off day in the middle so we can go exploring - and enjoy the resort. The girls are so excited because we are staying at POFQ, and we can use POR's pool - because it's almost like a 2 for 1 - LOL... I am just really excited to explore both resorts - they both look beautiful. The girls really wanted to stay at POR for the Mansion rooms, but once they saw the new refurbed rooms at POFQ - they love them... I told them the next time, if we enjoy POFQ, we'll try POR - since there will be less of a time crunch. LOL We plan to see a lot of resorts on this trip... dd specifically planned a bunch of ADRs at resorts that she wanted to see - so it will be a lot of fun.  D~

Megan so wants to go to Europe...hence taking French, told her maybe for her high school graduation present we could do a Disney Adventure trip! and definately Disneyland Paris!!
yes we changed our costumes....Megan was going to be Cinderella and I was Snow White, the Cindy dress didn't fit Megan but SW did, the Cindy dress was tight in the chest area on me, so found a "rags" cindy dress for me and Megan is going as SnowWhite now. will try to get photos up tomorrow sometime.

My daughter that is a senior this year wanted to take French when she went to high school. But her reason was because she wanted to be able to ask where Johnny Depp's house was if she ever went to France.
