Hi everyone, and welcome to my first PTR!

My name is Sara (aka Stringbean), and my DBF is Wingnut. You may remember us from such dining reviews and trip reports as "A Post Open-Heart Surgery Dining Report" and "A Post Open-Heart Surgery Trip Report".

(Astute readers at this point may have gathered that one of us has had heart surgery in the recent past. That was me, mitral valve repair in July '10. Everything is fixed and looking wonderful now!)

Here we are:

You'll hear me rhapsodize about those Napoleons from Boulangerie Patisserie several times.

I am definitely the bigger Disney nut in our household (although Wingnut will quite happily pore over the menus for endless amounts of time), and Wingnut seems to see this PTR as a new pinnacle of my Disney obsession (I prefer the term "hobby"

). I'm pretty sure I can come up with something else to make him reassess that.

But in the meantime, welcome aboard the happiest PTR that ever sailed!!!

Did you watch the P&F movie this weekend? I'm sorry if you already mentioned it and I missed it. I liked it!

Yeah, I wasn't really sure why it was so nerve wracking to switch days for ADRs due to park crowd predictions, because in the end, it didn't really matter (boyfriend didn't care, got everything). But there's about ten minutes where it's become the most important thing in the room and of course the cat chose that second to knock over a lamp while catching a fly...! But no vacations were destroyed this time.

That does make sense. I just always saw him as a very encouraging, "look on the bright side" kind of character. His reaction just surprised me. But I'll also admit I wasn't paying perfect attention during the movie (on the Dis, of course!), so I could have missed stuff too.

Ohh it's a trivia site! Idk why, I assumed it was a Hulu-type site! I'll definitely have to check that out!

Hahaha isn't that always the way?? You really have to focus on something, and everything takes that opportunity to go awry!

I did, we've been talking about Phineas' reaction to Perry being Agent P...what do you think?? Overall, I did enjoy the movie, but I only saw the first 2/3rds of it (before Jersey Shore came on

Day 3 - Your Favorite Attraction in Tomorrowland

This is actually a tough one for me, a bunch of my favorite attractions are condensed in this land....alright. Here are my top 3.

1. The Monster's Inc Laugh Floor (at least, I think) is hilarious and adorable, and I just love that some of the seats have the little lights on them a la an actual comedy club (it's the little things, I know). I love the corny humor ("ah, Pennsylvania...the home of the Eiffel Tower!"), it never fails to make me laugh.

2. The TTA PeopleMover I just love. It's just 9 or so minutes of relaxing breezy enjoyment through the trailer of the attractions of Tomorrowland (oh, and a lovely view of the Castle at one point!)

3. The Carousel of Progress. I know it's outdated and shabby and that song is possibly even more ear-wormy than it's a small world, but I love it. And not just on the basis of "it's a classic," which it is, but it just has charm. And history. And awesome workout machines a la approximately 1940.

How about you? Can you pick just one favorite? Or three. Three is fine too. Six may be excessive, considering there's only eight Tomorrowland attractions in total...

I love Tomorrowland!

I think my favorite attractions there are the People Mover, Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain! I love CoP so much, if they ever decide to close that down, I would cry! I know it's outdated, but that's what makes it so much fun, it's a classic!

Space Mountain is my favorite in Tomorrowland. When my kids were younger we lived by the......

First Park is MK, First ride is Space Mountain manntra. There was just no other way to do a trip. So space brings back wonderful memories of the pre-teen years.

#2 - TTA - love this ride. You are so right - 9 minutes of bliss.

#3 - CoP - Denny loves this ride more than I do. One trip he tried to ride it three times.

I have to go back in December and pay homage to my old oven which was exactly like the one in the last scene.
