Question: Is there a place on the boards 2 talk about homegrown DIY Disney Weddings?
Hi, we are getting married next Saturday in Indiana, but we will be having a Disney Wedding reception we sort of just Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Booed together on our own with some craftiness and many trips to the Disney Store. This thread seems like it is for people who have weddings at Disney resort properties. Is there any place where we can report on our reception on the boards? We don't wan't to rock the boat and put things in the wrong place. We are happy to start a thread and help moderate it if required.

I agree, I would love to hear about your at-home Disney wedding! If you look through the planning journals you will see there are plenty of them!

I love the at-home weddings just as much as the park weddings! I feel like the at-home brides usually try to add more "Disney magic" into their decor than the WDW/DL/DCL brides (because it's already there). I really appreciate DIY projects!

We couldn't do a DFTW so we're doing our own at home. There's a ton of us AHFTW (at-home fairy tale wedding) brides here. I'm doing a Haunted Mansion theme for mine.
