~When I First Felt The Magic...FINALLY!~ April 2010 Trip Report

Well, yeah, first I have to say I'm a little late on this report. I originally was going to write it when I first joined the site, but I put it in the wrong place so I stopped. Now, I'm just going to post it in the right place, here.

First things first, introductions.

Hi, I'm Timmy! I'm one of the younger members of the DISers, as you can see most of my time on the Boards is spent in the TB. I've kinda branched out to here to read other TRs and the Attractions and Strategies area. I'm a huge die-hard Disney fan. I spend most of my free time either doing something Disney-related (researching, watching a movie, etc.) I even check the Disney wait times on the Undercover Tourist app on my iPod Touch. Everyone thinks I'm crazy and I take pride in that, though lately most can't stand it so I've tried to keep it on the down low. I also had been wanting to go to Disney since I was like 4 or 5 and waited almost ten years until I finally got to go last year. So you can guess I'm a young teenager.

Other members of this trip, include...

My mom, who is probably the next person in my family closest to being obsessed as I am. She isn't crazy about Disney, but knows the Florida area pretty well and the one who originally got me so obsessed. Lot of funny stories about her on this TR. She is also the primary photographer in this TR, so not a lot of pictures of her.

Next, is my dad, who is the big killjoy (always has to be one) of this TR. It's not that he hates Disney, it's just, he didn't have the bug. He's been there so many times and just think it has gotten worse and worse. He also would rather be rolling around in the snow during these times, not tanning in the summer heat.

(DOS is on top, DYS on bottom) I also have two little sisters. The older one (who is still younger than me) is the daredevil and huge roller-coaster enthusiast, so to be satisfied, there have to be some rides that terrify her. She just isn't an experience type of girl, which I hope some day she realizes experience is always better. So, she isn't hooked on Disney World at all, but wouldn't coming back. My other sister is a bit different. She'll basically go on anything I go on (I'm the chicken of the family), unless it has loud noises. That was the first thing we noticed going to Disney. She didn't enjoy loud noises. I don't get it, since she can go on Expedition Everest no problem and can't go on It's Tough To Be A Bug. It still befuddles me. (For their discretion, my sisters will be named DOS (older sister) and DYS(younger sister) or the plural of just my sisters)

This trip is a bit dated since it happened over a year ago in April. It still is my first trip and probably will always stand as the best. Here are some details:

WHEN? April 25th to April 30th of 2010
ACCOMMODATIONS? Animal Kingdom Lodge: Kidani Village
WHY? HOW? WHAT? My mom has always wanted to bring us here and finally convinced my dad to go. My mom went through a DVC member, so we stayed at the AKL villas. We also got the DDP (I'm pretty sure). We did decide to only use Magic Your Way tickets, so one park per day. Here is our schedule:

Day 1: Magic Kingdom
Day 2: Hollywood Studios
Day 3: Animal Kingdom
Day 4: Epcot
Day 5: Magic Kingdom

Without further ado, let's get this show on the road!

CHAPTER 1: A WHOLE NEW WORLD WITH AN EVIL, DARK SKY (Part 1)

So I'll begin with our first day *sigh* It was pretty crazy to start out with. We had to get up very early that day, though I was totally read. Probably got no sleep the night before. Then, I woke up and the realization hit me. I was going to Disney World and we had so much to get ready before leaving and getting on the plane. It was just not a good combination.

I got out of bed, right away and rushed to finish packing my carry-on bag. I, then ran outside my room, brushed my teeth and proceeded to run downstairs. My mom yelled at me to get dressed (as usual), though I told her I was going to have breakfast first. So I had my breakfast before anyone else (besides my mom and dad).

My dad was bringing down all the luggage, while my sisters came down right behind them, DOS already changed and DYS... well she isn't a morning person. Once I was finished with breakfast. I sat down and watched a bit TV. After awhile, I went upstairs to take a shower and get changed.

After I was finished, I was rearing and ready to go. We still had a few more minutes and all our luggage wasn't in. I was freaking out and just ran to the get car packed up. We did this so fast that once the car was finally packed up, we still had time to spare, though we still had the carry-ons to fit in the car. We waited a bit and then were rushing again. My parents were telling us to get into the car. We shockingly fit everything inside and were on our way within moments.

As I told you, it was a long car drive and really wasn't good when you're going to Disney World. We did finally arrive. Getting into the parking garage, getting to the terminal, putting on the tags for Magic Express, handing our checked bags in, going through security was very easy. But we were there fairly early and the airport was very quiet so we had time to kill. We walked around and bought some lunch, since we were probably going to arrive in Orlando a bit before dinner.

We had our early lunch and just checked out the terminal, which was very quaint and not crazy at all, which was nice for being a first time flyer. We just took it very nicely and it was a lot easier than I first thought when thinking of the airport and my parents' definition.

The plane arrived and we had to wait about 20 minutes before we could embark. Once we did, we got seats in the way back, which was nice since we weren't caught in the large group of people. Though my dad and DYS got stuck up further front.

We had a very nice flight and landed fine in Orlando. We luckily had almost zero turbulence on the way there. It was nice for my mom, who, though flown many times out of any of us, wasn't great with planes. She freaked out a lot. It was pretty funny, but anytime my mom freaks out its funny (wait until later in the TR).

So we landed fine in Orlando, got off the plane and were straight on our way to Disney World. We trammed over to the main terminal to go to the Magical Express. Now, this is where we hit a bump. We didn't know where it was. We walked around forever trying to find where the Magical Express until we asked someone, they directed us and we found it, all the way down on the bottom floor. We got into line for Animal Kingdom Villas (Kidani Village) and waited awhile for the bus to come.

When the bus finally came we were the first ones on and basically spread out amongst the bus. A few other families with much younger children came on and seemed to stay towards the front, as we were mostly toward the back. My mom of course had to talk with one person on the ride there (she's always "making friends" as my dad and I put it). It was a nice ride, though we couldn't understand our driver, his accent was so thick, but he was nice. Here is a picture of Minnie on the WDW sign-

Our resort was the last stop, so it was about a 30 minute drive. We had to stop at the Polynesian and POP Century before we finally got AKL. We got off the bus, got our carry-ons and ran inside the resort. We checked-in, which took a lot longer than expected, since my mom of course had questions. (*rolls eyes*) They tried to help us with everything and were very nice. We never really found a CM all week that wasn't nice. Our room was ready, since we got to the resort a little bit later than planned. So, we brought up our carry-ons and checked out the place.

We then decided to just check out the resort first, get reservations at the restaurant and then go swimming at the pool (with waterslide, might I add) out near the parking lot at our resort. We went down and walked around a bit. We checked out the gift shop, since Disney is probably the best place for souvenirs and we wanted to see everything. This was where we heard about the refillable mugs (I call them "magic mugs") and decided to buy those later tonight after dinner. After that, we went to see the Savannah, since that was just something not to miss when staying at one of the AKLs. I got some great pictures of animals with my phone-

(DYS just posing for me)

Hmm... I thought I had more. Oh well... moving on... before I got to go out into the Savannah, my mom made reservations at Sanaa (the only table service we didn't reserve before the vacation). They gave us beeper to let us when our table was open. Then, we went out into the Savannah where I got most of those pictures.

It was finally time and only a few minutes after Sanaa opened for dinner, our beeper went off. We, then right down to the restaurant. They let us in and we had great seats right in the direction of the huge window that surrounded the restaurant and where you could see the animals. BTW, the meal we had here, was the best meal I had in all of Disney and I had some great meals.

Our waitress was very nice. She was so good at advertising the specials, I decided to have the salmon special. It was so good. I wish I had a picture. The chef came out a bit after and came to ask how our meals were. I always love it when the chef comes out, they are so funny and very modest.

Once we were "almost full" of our main entree, we ordered our desserts. My mom, DOS and I all ordered the same dessert. It was a sampler and I think it may have been the crowd-pleaser for us three. I liked everything on the plate. They did two except for the little bowl of this ice cream. I definitely wish I could go back to Sanaa on my next trip. Even the meals were gorgeous, look at the sampler dessert dish, I was talking about-

It was kinda dark lighting, since outside it was getting dark out (Uh-oh) and I didn't get a great pic, but it was a beautiful plate with great taste! YUMMM... Alright, now we finally finished the meal, used our dining plan. We had to wait awhile, because my mom had our waitress explain the dining plan to us around this time. Oh mom! Once she was done, we left and went upstairs to go get ready for the pool.

CHAPTER 1: A WHOLE NEW WORLD WITH AN EVIL, DARK SKY (Part 2)

Now, we went upstairs and took a beeline for the gift shop. We still had to buy the refillable mugs. We all bought one, except for my dad (told ya he was a killjoy, but he's still awesome and I think he still likes Disney though he won't admit it ). Then, we all got our mugs filled with drinks, so we had something to quench our thirst while we walked around. I had Root Beer (just a notice, Root Beer is my favorite drink). We went right from there, to the elevator to our room.

Our luggage had arrived! *everyone cheers* It came a lot quicker than expected. We were happy nothing had been lost. Disney is so good We, all then got changed into our bathing suits to go swimming. Everyone called the rooms before me, so I walked around with my bathing suit and checked out the balcony we had. It wasn't a Savannah view, but it was directly over where the buses to the parks arrive at. So, at least we knew where they were and which bus stops were. Though, on this night, I noticed the sky was a menacing gray, not the usual which hinted for a storm.

I didn't say anything to anyone in my family since I really wanted to go to the pool, but... I wish I did. So, everyone finished changing so I could go change. We, then left the hotel room, took the elevator downstairs and went out to the pool. Little drops of rain were falling by now and there were some distant rolls of thunder, though we continued.

We got to the pool, when my mom thought she saw one of her friends there, the one who basically planned most of the trip for us and helped us out with our trip planning. Her kids were running up the path and she screamed out "Hey guys!" Then, noticed it wasn't them. Yeah, we were all embarrassed by this. We then kept on walking, when a lifeguard stopped us. She told us they heard thunder and were going to wait a half hour until opening the pool. If no more thunder then we could go in. My mom asked if we could just see the pool and the lifeguard was nice of us to let us go down.

Now, Disney is awesome when it comes to pools, because they are always themed, never just... the pool. At this pool, it was themed to be a pool out in somewhere in the polynesian area maybe. The waterslide was built in to rocks and then around the pool were tiki torches and a tiki bar. They did a nice job on this one. We, then turned around and went back to the hotel.

My mom then got a call from her actual friend, whom she thought was at the pool earlier. My mom and her friend's husband were going to go to walmart and buy some snacks to have at the hotel. They were staying at our neighboring resort, Jambo House. This call was made when the storm was pretty obviously getting bad. It was starting to get very windy out and humid.

We went inside and then before the elevator, we found a place, where we could sit on a porch overlooking the Savannah. All the animals were being brought in before the storm, so there wasn't much to see, but the breeze felt good and the calm before the storm is always gorgeous to see. Then, when my mom was about to leave, we went up to our room. But before, a lady totally freaked us out, by telling us this storm was coming from the hurricane in... Kentucky or something. It was so morbid and she was a CM!

Everyone got changed and my mom left. We decided to put on movies. DYS watched something in the bedroom and after taking out the pull-out beds, DOS and I watched Avatar in the main room. DOS was really freaking out about my mom in the storm, which wasn't a good vibe to have and I tried to calm her down. Then, I looked out the window and saw how rainy and stormy it was. I started panicking with her.

We called my mom to just be sure. DOS started yelling at her over the phone and then my mom hung up. We got our minds off of it by watching a bit of Avatar. DYS and my dad both went to bed pretty early. DYS slept in my parent's bed until my mom got home later that night. My sister and I watched until we were too tired to watch anymore that night than turned it off and went to sleep, too tired to wait for my mom to get home.

My mom came home a bit later and woke me up. I just woke up and looked, but went back to sleep. I was half-asleep that night because I was really excited for tomorrow. We were going to the Magic Kingdom!

Loving this TR! I saw the link in your sig on the teen board (I'm a teen if you haven't guessed) and decided to check it out. I'm going on my first trip at the end of March, beginning of April, so it's a nice little preview. Can't wait for more!

Wow

I am highly impressed. I know grown men who can't type, or spell, or imagine anywhere near as well as you. You must be some kind of prodigy. I wish I was your Mom!

Haha... I wouldn't call myself a prodigy, but it's nice to hear. Thanks! (:

CHAPTER 6: FIRE AND WATER, FIRE AND WATER, FIRE AND WATER AND... BAD HORROR MOVIES?

My mom, DYS and I travelled around the Power Rangers M&Gs that were scattered throughout the area in front of the Backlot Tour, we turned towards the Backlot tour and got into line for the attraction.

While we waited, my eyes wandered to this one group of people. They were all wearing orange t-shirts and seemed to all speak a different language, but then would understand English. They were strange and really confused me. I preoccupied myself while we waited listening to them because they seriously wouldn't shut up. I still couldn't figure out what the language was...

Finally, they let us through and we headed on quicker through the queue to the first part of the show, the special effects demonstration, which was really interesting to watch since it gives a sense of how an action sequence is made and how some certain aspects of it make it so realistic. I had taken out my phone by now and took some pictures:

After this, we then continued on to get on the tour ride. Along the way we passed by many props and prop areas, as well as other little sets. Here are some pictures from along the way. We were moving so fast, we never got pictures ): But by the time we loaded into the tram, the picture taking had begun:

You can see one of the people with the orange shirts sitting right in front of us.

Then, we enter into Catastrophe Canyon, probably my favorite part of this whole ride:

I also took a quick video:

Some more pictures:

And then we continued on with the tour...

Then, the ride was over. I didn't enjoy it a ton, but I liked Catastrophe Canyon, since it was getting very hot and it was refreshing. And that fire is really REALLY hot. I don't think I would push to go on it again, but maybe once every so often I would check it out.

When we got through the crowd, we saw it was almost time for our 12:30 ADRs at SciFi Dine-In. It was planned for today that it would be mine time for celebration at a restaurant and I picked SciFi since it looked the coolest from the pictures I saw online. I was very excited to go. The only problem was, we needed to find my dad and DOS, who were all the way down at Sunset Boulevard. So, my mom and I called and texted them trying to find which ride they were at and they said they were just getting off Tower of Terror and heading onto Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. We continued on our way there, of course getting lost along the way, and then waited a bit outside Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

We waited probably about fifteen minutes before they finally came out. They were raving about the ride and how fast it was at the start. They seemed to really enjoy it. Then, I asked about Tower of Terror and they said it wasn't as bad and tried to persuade me to go on. Me, being the ride chicken, said no, even after they continued to try to persuade me, it was a resounding no.

My mom checked the clock again and said our reservation was coming soon, so we needed to get over there. We didn't know where the place was though, so we had to use our park maps and after a lot of walking around we finally found it and it turned out to only be behind the American Idol Experience showspace. So much for walking past Star Tours :P

When we got there, the heat that day was at its peak and you could tell by the group of people trying to squeeze into the waiting area at SciFi. When we checked in, we luckily got brought in fairly quickly. The only downside was, when we were brought in, DOS said it was her birthday, so she got to have that special treatment at the place WHERE I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET SPECIAL TREATMENT! Grrr...

When we were brought in, we were seated pretty far back and you could see everything. Lemme tell you, it looked so cool in there, just like a drive-in theater. There were even some waiters and waitresses on rollerskates, which was pretty awesome, sadly the maitre'd who brought us in didn't become our waitress, who was really nice and had the perfect vibe, but we got our only foreign waitress this entire trip, a lady from Tokyo, Japan. She was nice... but she wasn't amazingly nice like some other waitresses we had. And she gave us little licenses to DOS and I. Cute (:

We all ordered pretty quickly. DOS and I got root beers, DYS got a smoothie and my parents got Diet Cokes. Then, I ordered some pasta salad, DOS ordered some steak, DYS ordered some mac 'n' cheese and I forget what my parents ordered. I don't have any food pictures because this was all pre-DISboards, but lemme tell you, this wasn't a good time for food pictures...

It all started when my sister had to wait forever to get her steak. When she finally got it, she was very excited, took a bite to discover it was rare. DOS has been brainwashed by my dad too have her meats cooked thoroughly and that was NOT thorough enough. My dad also wasn't too pleased with his meal and I think DYS ended up changing her order. My mom and I luckily didn't cause any trouble and ate, enjoying our meals enough. It also was very cold in there and my pasta salad was so full of salt, I needed a water halfway through our meal. This was also the only place I didn't finish my whole meal. It just wasn't a good situation there.

My mom finished eating very early and took some pictures while we enjoyed our meals:

We ended up being there for a long time, because when we finally finished, our waitress stopped showing up at our table. So, it was almost miserable just sitting there, especially when my water was practically gone. My dad and DOS were getting quite irritable and soon enough DYS right along with them. When she finally came, we asked for the check and tried to get out of there as quick as possible, though it took awhile for our DDP card to work. Not fun. I did though get a chance to take a picture of our car's license plate:

Pretty cool right?

When we got outside, it was almost like whiplash walking into the heat, I mean I think the peak got higher. DOS and my dad went back towards Sunset Boulevard, while my mom, DYS and I went on our own way again... but to where?

Pluto! I finally had time to read your first TR!
First off, I canít believe this was your first trip EVER to Disney! I bet you were loving every second of it!
I just stayed at Kidani with my Mom in April Ė AWESOME place!
And haha my Mom ALWAYS makes friends with people in Disney too. I totally know how you feel. LOL your Mother sounds precious with all of her questions. Disney is an overwhelming thing! At least she was learning!
I went to Sanaa on that trip in April, too, and it was one of the best meals Iíve ever had in Disney! Holy cowÖ SO GOOD! I wish I was going back on my next trip too, but Iím not ☹ Itíll have to be a special thing haha. Ah I love it there!
That stinks that the rain ruined your pool time! I hate when that happens!
I love hearing about this from a first timers point of view. I was literally months old the first time I went there so I never had this experience!
That must have been a big day for you to go on all of your first rollercoasters at once! Way to go!
You should get a Fastpass for Peter Pan next time. The line is NEVER worth it. I donít think Iíve ever ridden the ride without a Fastpass!

Alright... I have to take a break for now... but I'll finish reading it soon!

YAY! You joined in the chaos so-called my TRs. LOL BTW, just call me Timmy (: Oh and

Yeah... I had been waiting... almost ten years when this trip finally came around. I've been wanting to go to Disney since I was six and I practically knew more than my friends who had already been to Disney and my parents who took daily trips in their old jobs. I actually was even lucky enough to go with friends for my more recent second trip, if you want to read that TR, but I won't force you

I <3 Kidani! It is my favorite resort at the moment (I've been to two) and I would totally go back if I could.

Ok, my mom makes friends ANYWHERE. She can start a conversation with anyone and talk for an hour. My dad, DOS and I always hide when this happens LOL But she is my Disney buddy and the only one who puts up with all my DisNerdiness so I have to adjust, especially with all her questions, but that kinda stopped, more now it's "Lead the way, Timmy" :D

Sanaa is my all time favorite Disney restaurant (well table service)! Everyone forgot about it on my trip after Garden Grill But I just couldn't get over that salmon oh my word! I'm pretty sure, I will be marrying that thing someday LOL

Yeah... we ended up actually only using the pool once. I love the pool there, very fun, especially at night when they have a movie playing, but I'll get to that later. (:

You is VERY lucky! My parents were actually pretty smart when it came to our first Disney trip. My mom said she wanted to wait until we were older so that we remembered it, but boy, she could not have predicted what would happen to her eldest son after? Hahahahaha

I was totally converted to thrill junkie after this trip. I didn't got on every thrill ride at Disney, but I went on some I thought I would never go on. I was traumatized by one roller coaster experience as a child and this just trip like took the course of the 10 years in between that time. That's how magical it felt

I'm definitely doing that next time. If there is a wait I'm NOT going on and if the FPs are too late, I'm NOT going on either. It is a nice, but short ride, so a long wait doesn't suffice for me.

Okay! I hope you enjoy the rest.

I'm sorry I've been behind on updating. Things started to get very busy for me this summer, so I didn't have a ton of time for this, but today I finally got to it and now I have an update. For anyone, reading my other TR, I'll either update that later tonight or tomorrow. Without further ado, let's get to the update...

CHAPTER 8: “IT WAS GOOD, BUT WE WERE BETTER!”

After the show, we stood back at the exit waiting for my dad and DOS. While we were waiting, the girl that had just won her round for the American Idol Experience walked by with a few other girls. My mom congratulated her and told her how great she was. Oh, mom!

After everyone was gone, we were about to go hang by the entrance to the American Idol Experience, when we ran right into my dad and DOS. They did find her phone and made it in time for the show, but weren’t exactly happy about stepping foot back in SciFi.

It was now about 3 or so in the afternoon and we still had a ton of time on our hands before Fantasmic, which was our next order of planned business. So, my dad and DOS ended up going back down Sunset Boulevard hoping to ride RnRC and ToT a few gajillion more times. My mom and DYS didn't really during this time. I'm not sure if we rode the Great Movie Ride again or ended up getting some refreshments. It's very blurry in my mind, but I know we met up with my dad and DOS soon after moping about, to find something to do.

We noticed the Beauty & the Beast show, something totally of interest at this time. See, this year was my last year in middle school and prior to this trip, I had just performed my last musical with the theater club there. This was also the last year for my director. It was bittersweet to say the least, this year, many tears (not from me, but I was sad). And now, I could see the play performed in Disney, the place that created that show, so I had to say it. I also wanted to compare, seeing if we were better than professionals (and it was a really good play if I do say so myself). We made it just as the show was starting, found some seats way in the back. In a few short minutes time, the show began:

I must say, it was a very good show. The dances were fantastic and "Be Our Guest" just blew me away (one number I was in at the school play). Though, some fell flat for me and overall, my thoughts were "It was good, but we were better", 'we' pertaining to the cast I was a part of at my school's production. I just didn't like how some of the extras, when they sang, it wasn't them, same with some of the leads, though Belle was fantastic, I must say. I would add that I do see myself going back to see this on a future trip.

Being way in the back of the theater for a show at Disney has it's perks, like, the ability we have to avoid getting trapped in a crowd, since we got out fairly quickly. We also moved along pretty quickly, though we did stop for a break. During our break, we ended up stopping to watch these guys:

They were quite funny. The set for the shenanigans taking place here was, all of them were lined up in a joke-off, to find who had the better joke. The problem with this was they ended up using the same joke, but in different contexts. I forget what the joke was, but I know it involved underwear. :confused2 We didn't stay long and went on our way.

It was starting to get dark out, which meant, only a few more hours until Fantasmic. I had already decided that I was going to stay and knew that was the plan, but some other family members weren't in on it. My dad and DYS both were pooped from the day. My dad had just lost interest and DYS was young and when she started to get tired, well... let's say, it isn't pretty. So, they were planning to go home. I tried to coax them out, but they weren't having it. So, we bid them goodbye and went our separate ways.

Based on the fact, I wasn't planning on going on ToT or RnRC anytime soon, we decided that we would just spend this time riding a group favorite: The Great Movie Ride. I forget how many times we rode this one, but I think we practically ran in and out of this ride, we were enjoying it so much. The line was much longer than earlier, but still we got to enjoy a few times, though our guides weren't as great as the first one we had. They were still good, but I just liked the girl we originally had better. I did get a chance to take a picture of one of the carousel horses from Mary Poppins while waiting:

It was now a little bit over an hour before Fantasmic and we heard that you want to get to the line early, since it does fill up quick, especially for the first show. We started making our way over, when the finale American Idol show began. I really wanted to see it since it was more than one contestant and had DOS and my mom stop to watch. The theater was closed so we had to watch it from the screen outside. We watched for about ten minutes, before heading to Fantasmic and we got to the line just in time (well, before the long lines), the sun finally hiding behind the clouds, hinting we were entering night time or should I say FANTASMIC time.

CHAPTER 9: A FANTASMIC-LY GOOD TIME!

SOOOO… where were we? Oh yes, waiting for Fantasmic… We got there as early as recommended and found ourselves in line right behind the entrance to the Beauty & the Beast show. Our wait was uneventful which made it painfully long. If there were some performers or... something! Well, we made it through it and after an hour or less, they let us in.

It was a nice thick crowd when we went in. My mom and DOS both were walking slowly and there some space to go through if we walked faster, but they didn't so I had to stay back. It irritated me for some reason, but I just trudged on with them. We came to a stop at one of the many souvenir stands. My mom had done the miraculous- She asked us if we WANTED not needed WANTED some souvenirs. I took this chance and went for it. After some decisions, which are extremely painful for me, I got a light-up necklace, DOS got light-up Mickey ears and my mom bought those too for my other sister, but she decided to wear them as well. Oh, mom!

We continued on through the tree lined pathway to the Fantasmic stadium. When we got there, already 2/3s, maybe more of the place was filled. We ended up on the left side, not the far left side, but it was definitely not the middle though we still had a great view since we sat pretty close to the front. I couldn't believe how quickly the place filled up... Good thing we took the tip!

Once we sat down, we noticed that we still had some time before the show started since we were there an hour early. My mom saw the snack bar and decided she would get us something to munch on while we waited. We walked up to get in line. I don't remember what I got entirely, but I know we all got pretzels and a drink, which, knowing me was probably a Root Beer. I think there may have been Nachos, Fried Dough or something mixed in their, but it was all pretzels and beverages. Sorry, no food pictures, but this happened pre-Disboards :/

We got ourselves all situated in our seats, preparing for the show. This was the moment my mom took out the camera and went to town. I also took out my phone as well... I'll just let the pictures tell the story:

That picture, taken from my side-

After we finished all our food, there still was time to spare. A guy started a wave all the way across the arena. We joined in and it was very fun. I don't care now if I haven't done the wave at a football game, I did it at FANTASMIC! Hehehe

In no time, the show commenced...

THE PRINCESSES

THE DRAGON

THE STEAMBOAT WILLIE

THE SORCERER MICKEY

The show ended and I must say Disney wowed me again. This was a FANTASTIC show. I mean it had everything you could imagine. I mean you can't really top that. And I loved the music and hearing it on the way out was awesome. Fantasmic is a new must-do for me.

The walk out was pretty uneventful nothing really happened. The park was pretty much closed when we left so it was practically empty streets. Though, the buses were still packed and we were on a loaded bus. DOS and I both had our little light-up necklaces and Mickey-Ears going so that was pretty awesome. I'm not sure how some felt about it, but nobody complained. Soon enough, we were off the bus and on the way to our room. I got changed and went pretty much right to bed, I was very tired, but nonetheless ready for another magic-filled day
