Wow, we don't get offers like that here in Quebec. The only grocery store that I can think of that gives Airmiles is IGA. They give for total purchase price and sometimes have bonus airmiles where you have to buy certain items. Usually they are not something that we need.

We had saved our miles for a while and used it for return airfare to Orlando and three x five day adult passes for DW. Time to start accumulating again........

I don't find the grocery store to give us that many points here in Ontario either.

I live in Kitchener, and the airmiles here are really crappy I find. The only place that really offers them for where I shop and that is not often is the liquor store. Guess if I want to get more air miles I better start drinking more.

I've earned 20,000 airmiles since September
I can usually get 400-500 each week at Safeway. I love Safeway

I'm an airmiles junkie for sure. We live in Winnipeg and do all our grocery shopping at safeway. Last week I spent $500 and got 850 airmiles. This week the flyer has the spend $100 and get 100 airmiles. Trying to get another 800 or so this week. We bought our tickets for five to Orlando this past Christmas using airmiles.

Ugh... I want a Safeway in London, Ontario... We only have 'metro' (formerly A&P) and the two stores are in really lousy high traffic areas with crammed isles and dark lighting, even after one had a "renovation"...

We used to live in Hamilton and used "the Barn" chain, which had really great produce and meats and decent layouts, we would easily gain from 100 to 200 or so points a shopping trip, especially on the bonus items.

Since we've moved to London, the airmiles have sat at a firm 7000 ... bummer...
