I am in a rut and can't seem to get much higher than 100,000. Let's share hint and tips to get those high scores!!!

I cant' get much higher than that either now on the new version.. but everybody else on my friends isn't having any problems with it! don't have any tips for ya.. my dd plays on my login and kicks butt, so I look very talented!!

LOL!! My nephew just got 300,000. I like when the scores erase because I can be at the top for about 15 minutes!

300,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have got to be kidding me!!!
the highest on my group is 238,900...... i'm stuck at 183,000 and that is courtesy of my dd!! gotta love her...

My high this week is 316K. (I about fainted, usual is around 225k).

My tips, start as soon as the board falls in (don't wait for "go"). You can blast a couple sets before the "go" even comes in.

I don't worry a whole lot about getting 4's or 5's intentionally. I just pretty much concentrate on continually making sets. As soon as you do one, immediately go to the next one to move. I often switch from one side to the other so one side can "settle" while I'm working on the other. Do your best to zone out any fancy tricks, blasts going on.

I do keep an eye on x2 x3, etc to use those if I can. Also use the 5 in a row diamond things on whatever color has the multiplier.

And I probably play more than I should.

I stink. I finally made it to 137K that was my first time over 100K. Like I said I stink!

I just scored my highest today - 385,000! I have no tips. I just click the heck out of it and hope for the best.

This thread must have given me a dose of good luck because I just scored 477,700!!

Never had that high of a score or seen one from one of my friends!

I"ve topped out at 197,000 lately. The new version makes for much easier play, IMO-- but the multiplier buttons seems to take longer to arrive than in the first version.

My high game is 322,750 but it will be gone tomorrow.
I did post that I will never see a game that high again. It was sheer luck, I would get a match and a group would just fall into place, I didn't clear that high a score on my own.
I try to set up a 5 in a row as much as possible but that takes away from the smaller matches and takes time. My normal scores are between 50,000 and 100,000 but every once in a while I get a 12,000. It is just luck of what they give you to work with.

Here is a question.....when I get 5 in a row, I have that cube appear. When I click on it most times I get a bunch of 250 points, but once in a while I get 500, 750 or 1000 points. How do I get those higher points?

You have to get a 2x or 3x to get the higher points. When you are in the beginning, regular points you will get 250, once you get a 2x set, you will get 500 etc..

Im jealous of all of you. My computer can not download flashplayer 10, therefor, I cant play bejeweled anymore. I score over 100K once on the old version and over 75K all the time.

Im waiting for a day after Thanksgiving supersale to buy a new desktop. I cant justify paying regular price for a new computer, that I really dont need, just to play a game!

I am TOTALLY addicted to this silly game! Plus I did not think that I was as competive as I have become. The silly thing is that I cannot score anywhere near the totals you all have posted. Any hints out there???
