Wanna See an Autograph Book? Another one to share. 2/24/13 Update

EDIT -- 2/24/2013

Page 11, Post #162 -- DD3's Autograph Book

==========================

10/30/10 -- Added Duffy Bear, Page 10, Post#139

10/24/2010 -- Finally had a chance to add some more pages to my daughter's autograph book. Updates on page 8, Post #116 thru page 9 #129.
================================================== =====
EDIT -- Pages 1, 4 and 6 have the PHOTO PAGES

I finally started my DD4's Permanent Autograph book. I decided to go with Pre-done pages and of course will take some blank cards for those characters we meet that I didn't scrap yet.

Last year when I made the Disney ABC scrapbook, many characters just loved perusing through the book to see all the pages. It gave us more face time and was cool for me to see the characters like Minnie and Ariel get all excited.

The album is an 8x8 album...the pages are protected in a sleeve and the entire album will go in a large, freezer ziploc bag to keep dry.

I made a space for a photo or journal on each page and labeled them with a sticky. The other blank spot is for the autograph. I know some characters sign really big and will go beyond the character box, and that is ok with me.

Tell me what you think -- I hope you enjoy!

(see next post for pics)

And these were the first ones I did...some of them I was still trying to 'find my stride' but I think they are cute enough.

Mickey and Minnie

Goofy

Piglet and Eeyore

Pooh and Tigger

bonus: And this one was the last page I did from my May 08 Disney trip. I just like this photo and layout. It's a 12 x 12 page.

You are so talented, and your daughters are so lucky. These are books that they will be able to cherish their whole lives. And share with their children.

Your book is gorgeous! Do you make it ahead of time and have the characters sign it, or do you add the autographs to the book later?

I did both. In the beginning we needed them all, so I just made up new pages and also brought along blank white cards for new characters I hadn't got to yet. We bring the whole book in the parks.

It was great to look through while waiting in lines.

Then it got to be toooo heavy to carry so now we either just bring the individual pages we still need or blank autograph cards.

I'm actually working on my 2nd daughters book now...will post pics when I have a bunch to show.

Thanks for your kind words!
