Remember John Stevens? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi everyone!
I'm just curious, does anyone remember John Stevens, the guitarist at Port Orleans? It's been years since he was there, but we always enjoyed him so much more than the pianist at Riverside. I've tried to find out what happened to him but haven't been able to.
He was a talented guitarist and very very funny!

Someday I will have to put together a list of all of our Disney trips, I've lost track!

I really enjoy these message boards, it's fun to share the Disney magic with people who get what it's all about! I'm sure we all have friends and family who think we are nuts, they just don't know what we know, poor souls!

Disney World is indeed the happiest place on earth and we enjoy each vacation there more than the one before!

Yes, I remember him, and I miss seeing him. Very good performer.

He was so fun to listen to. My husband and I and another couple would come over and see him all the time. After he left Disney, he played for a while at Universal at the Nascar Cafe. Now he's gone from there and I heard he was working on a CD, but I haven't talked to him in a while. We loved his show, it was always so family-oriented and he is just a really nice person!

I have been looking for John Stevens for Many Years...He helped make some of the best Disney Memories for my family. We would get off the bus at the end of the day at Port Orleans,,,on our way to Dixie Landings just to see him perform...I hope someone will let him know that he made a lasting memory for many people,,and will never be forgotten....
