Do you think WDW has gone "UP HILL"?.... I do

Just back from 5 days at the Swan. This was my 5th visit and first since 2006. Here are a few of my observations: 1) The parks do not seem as clean as before, particularly the bathrooms; 2) Many of the rides had short 1-5 minute delays during the ride when it just stopped and then resumed...

Woohoo we have hit double digits, now I need some advice!!

Remember, unless you are flying JetBlue or Southwest, it is $25/ checked bag. If you are going to pay to check a bag, make sure it is a full 25 or 29 inch bag, not a 21 inch bag. You can carry on the 21 inch bag. Remember, if your checked bag is over 50 pounds, they will charge you more.

Clearwater Beach or Treasure Island, FL

After a trip to DW we plan a few days on the beach. Been to Cocoa and Daytona, but want to try something on the Gulf. Can anybody tell me or recommend where they stayed in Clearwater Beach or Treasure Island FL. Or for that matter, which is preferred. Are the beaches and the resorts the...

Turkey Legs - Yummy treat or nasty abomination?

They say: If you can get past the smell you got it licked. Well I can't get past the smell.

    Please Help! POFQ or CBR

It's small convenient and the first stop when buses are combined with POR.

Pictures of sound garden in Japan

I thought this grunge band broke up years ago. Cool.

CBR or POR or POFQ for a couple?

After walking all day at the resorts the last thing I want to do is get off the bus and walk another mile. Due to its compact size, for us it's POFQ. No contest.

Which form of line cutting is worse when kids are involved?

These boards are full of trivial threads. In fact one might say triviality drives them.

    Tips on autographs

That was not really Mickey Mouse, but Gerry Schwartz in a Mickey Mosue costume. I don't think I'll ever be the same.

Tour Guide Mike, to do or not?

It's pretty much what you already know, unless it is your first trip.

    Busiest year ever for Disney

I noticed that too. I think it has to do with eating too much fast food.

Tour Guide Mike Worth the Cost?

If you've been to Disney before you already know to avoid the parks with early or late days and go the day after. IMO the rest of the stuff he provides is ancillary at best. He didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.

TGM and UG-Do they pick the same days?

If you've been to Disney a few times, you already know what he is telling you, avoid the parks on early or late days, and go the day after. Wow, I'd pay $20 for that info again.

    AAA Discount at Moderate resorts

First stay a PORFQ, any tips or comments?

Just back from a week at POFQ. It was our second time, and our favorite moderate. Resort is small compared to other moderates. This is a major plus. Everything, the bus stop, pool, and food court is close. Building 4 is the closest to the bus stop and food court, so it is where we...

    CBR or POFQ

Depends how much you want to walk. CBR requires much walking...not something I want to do after walking miles all day at the parks. FQ is much smaller and therefore requires less (far less) walking in the resort. Everything, the bus stop, food court, pool is close at FQ. To me, it's FQ a...

    Update: Bedbugs

I think you are jumping to conclusions. BTW, I let my attorney handle my legal matters. That is what I pay him to do. I also let my doctor handle my medical matters, and my vet handle my dog's medical matters.

    Update: Bedbugs

Apparently you find 100 bed bug bites "normal." I'll stay out of your house.

    Update: Bedbugs

A bit more unpleasant???? I wonder if you'd say the same thing if you had 100 bed bug bites. Then again maybe your house is infested and you find it "normal."

    Amen to that. Well said.
