What foods do you want to try at Flower & Garden Fest?

The Honey Glazed Cauliflower @ Honey Bee-stro was probably one of my FAVORITES out of everything we had on Wednesday. Will definitely head back there again next trip!

    Parking

Yes I think this is the most ridiculous money hungry thing they have done at the Fort. Who else is going to park in front of the cabin you are paying to stay in? But I guess they have to do this across the board.:rolleyes1

The Wave or Trail's End Brunch for a Late Breakfast?

Never ate grits until I had them at The Wave and to this day although I have tried them in many places since, The Wave's are still the best!!

    First MNSSHP - Oversold?

They have been doing this with the MVMCP as well. We waited years to go and then finally went in 2017, NEVER AGAIN!! It was ridiculously crowded and not sold out. They must wait until they are at regular capacity before they declare the parties sell outs anymore. I had asked about the MNSSHP as...

    Port Orleans French Quarter

Its been a little over a year since we've stayed there which was actually our first stay at POFQ as most of the time we stay at POR. We did really enjoy it. Our room was very convenient to food court, it was quiet and comfortable. Just got really lucky for Fall as I was able to grab a river view...

AP and Resort Reservations with AP Discount

You would reserve the rooms together when you make your reservation (as mentioned I believe you can book up to 3 rooms using your discount) - you cannot book an AP discount (at least online) unless you have the AP info listed in your MyDisney Experience profile. It will not allow you to book an...

Resort parking fees are pretty much on the honor system, according to a CM

So I guess for those guests who take advantage of the on-site pool and on-site towels should start paying extra as well? On many of our trips we don't take advantage of using the pool. So shouldn't we get a percentage off our nightly stay since we don't use it?? ...just say'in...

Report horrible service? (this has been resolved)

ABSOLUTELY contact guest services. This was an UNACCEPTABLE experience. We had a somewhat similar experience a few weeks ago at another restaurant on property. I even spoke with the manager and she ran off with a bunch of excuses claiming she (the manager) was new to that specific location...

Anyone know why it's so busy right now?

Not sure where the research is coming from these days. We are AP holders and live nearby and never experience "slow" times at all anymore whenever we do a day trip or overnight trip. "Slow" days are pretty much a thing of that past anymore. (sometimes there may be a "slower" time during that day...

Cat help. Yes...I need help with another cat.

She is beautiful! Sorry to hear about your Bella, always so awful to lose a pet:( If your Mavis is improving I don't think it's FIP, usually they go downhill quickly with that. That being said, IBD is becoming more common amongst cats, still wondering if 1 or 2 of mine have it but you can't do...

Festival of Arts - Epcot 2018

Does anyone know how it works for the paid workshops? Looking at the 11 am workshops for $39 pp...can/does it have to be reserved in advance? Can't find anything anywhere on this?

Festival of Arts - Epcot 2018

You are not the only one who feels that way. We loved F&W several years ago but the last few years have not loved it so much. We were there this past year on the opening weekend which I thought would be crazy but it actually wasn't (we went Friday EARLY afternoon so I'm sure it got nuts after we...

    Sanaa or Jiko?

Absolutely agree, while so many posters love Sanaa we did not. Bread service was good, yes, but all the dips were spicy and dd cannot eat spicy food. And the food, dd's kid's burger was burnt and my salad did not impress me during the meal (or after). Jiko is one of our favorites on property...

    Better Italian Restaurant

Another vote for Il Mulino without question...actually our favorite Italian on Disney property. Also nice that you can make a reservation on opentable dot com so you don't have to worry about canceling the same day. Review with photos here: http://www.disneydiningreviews.net/resorts/il-mulino/

Trial Run for Dogs in Resort Rooms

Well, maybe I'm in the minority, but I just canceled my POR reservation because of this and will head off property to a non-Disney resort and will also drive to the parks or DS so I don't have to share transportation with dogs--this just blows my mind when they barely have enough room on the...

Trial Run for Dogs in Resort Rooms

What about people who don't love dogs? My dd is scared to death of them so now she'll have to deal with people walking them around our 2 favorite resorts. At the rates they are charging for a resort room now so not worth it on so many levels to us. My biggest concern is the barking, I've...

Two people on this trip - lousy table location?

Oh we have experienced the dreaded 2 top by the kitchen, in the back, near the cutlery station, next to the giant loud party of 12, in the little room next to the screaming family of 8...but told the hostess right away that we prefer to wait for the next 2 top that is in a more "open" area...the...

***Riding out the hurricane at a Disney resort? Post your experiences here!***

As bad as it looks most of it was tree damage, uprooting of trees very common. If this is the worst it's really not so bad;)

    Moving to Florida!! Relocation help.

I would suggest checking out the city-data dot com message board. This really helped with our move to the Melbourne, FL area (we moved from South FL a few years ago). Although not that far, this really helped us connect with the area and the different areas of town (good, bad, growing areas...
