    Roll Up To Win.

Wow Highland3, that's awesome!!!! :thumbsup2 I can certainly understand how you'd still be thrilled about it! :) You know, the young girls who won the vehicle had the right idea about sharing the prize. Leave it to the adults to mess it up. Kim

Ever wanted to go to Disney's Vero Beach Resort? (Pics)

Have a wonderful time, Poohbear 7!! :sunny: The strawberry daiquiris at Eb & Flos are yummy! In case you get thirsty.... ;) Vicky, Disney's VBR is 100 miles from WDW. Approximately an hour and a half drive, unless of course, you feel a need to stop at Cracker Barrel, or a Super Target. ;)

Animal Kingdom's Expedition Everest is really coming along!

Dangler, the notice they have up near the construction area only says "Opening 2006". Gives them 12 months or so leeway. ;) :) RC Fan, my DH was thinking the same thing, that it might be his last trip for a while, until he saw EE. That, and the Food and Wine Festival, might get him back...

    Fragrances

It's unseasonably cool here too, not very nice for gardening! Bobbi, the first 3 days of our 4 days at VB were rather miserable. Our last full day there it cleared up, thankfully! :sunny: Here's some pics I posted, if you'd like a look. :) ~Vero Beach~

Ever wanted to go to Disney's Vero Beach Resort? (Pics)

I've wanted to, ever since it opened! I finally got my chance to visit there for 4 days, and although the weather wasn't great, DH and I still enjoyed ourselves. It's a beautiful resort! :) The main building, from the beach. The boardwalk down to the beach (which was damaged during last...

Animal Kingdom's Expedition Everest is really coming along!

It's huge, and somewhat intimidating, don't you think? I'm not sure if I'll be courageous enough to ride it, when it's finished! :faint: :) Better get the Bonamine ready! ;)

    Fragrances

Our LOTV hasn't quite bloomed yet, and our lilacs are still a week or two from unfurling their fragrance. :) I was away at Vero Beach and briefly at WDW, and what a delightful difference when I came home, everything has greened up considerably! :sunny: BTW Bobbi, speaking of fragrances...

    this is horrible!

I hope you're feeling better, Jenn? You still have lots of time, but first you need your strength back! :) Between the snow yesterday, the rainy weather and muck, and family issues needing attention, not much is getting accomplished here either. Sometimes it just has to wait.

    Pics of the garden bunnies

Anyone cover their plants/flowers this past weekend?

Doesn't sound crazy at all, D4D, sounds like smart thinking! :) I saw on last night's news that parts of Ohio really got nailed, and that thousands of people were without power. How much snow did you end up receiving? We woke up Sunday morning to an inch or so, not too bad. Still, it's...

    Reviving a topiary

Aidensmom, I have no idea what kind of plant is on your topiary, although ivy and creeping fig are popular choices. Would it be possible to bring it, or a piece of it, to a nursery or garden centre, and see if they can advise you? If it is a type of ivy, the following info might be of help...

    Buying daffodils from catalogs

Welcome back, disneysnowflake! :sunny: Not one of your bulbs bloomed? Oh wow, I'd certainly be disappointed, and annoyed! I hope you contacted the mail order company? If so, what did they say? I don't know what the problem was/is. Inferior bulbs, stored below freezing for too long...

    Allergic reaction from pruning shrubs..

Welcome, DISNEYFANRI! :flower3: Ouch, that sounds miserable!! Do you have someone who can do the job for you, next time? Long sleeves and gloves sound in order, but even then, your reaction sounds fairly severe and it might be better to have someone else trim the junipers.
